Geoff really is a rare talent. He often accompanies himself on these songs, and the costumes and creativity are off the chain. Such an enjoyable reaction. He's also in an acapella group called Voiceplay and both the group and his solo work come out with Halloween songs every year. There are a lot of Nightmare Before Christmas ones. :)
That first line... I honestly think Geoff could put on a business card and be completely justified. "There are few who could deny that what I do, I do the best..." Yes, Geoff, we know. Oh do we know. Listen to his cover of Elvis Presleys Way Down, seriously you will enjoy it.

If you want to hear more of Geoff's greatness you must please do a reaction video of Voice Plays new cover song..( Hell Fire. ) Geoff is the main vocalist in the song.
As a bass-baritone myself, Geoff is something special. I can get down to an E2, but not the way he can. When he does it it not even a note anymore, it’s like an earthquake. I’m still fairly young, so I can only hope that as my voice matures and I continue to learn how to use my low vocals, that I can one day compare to Geoff.
Geoff has so many faces! His soulful face is my favourite, because it produced his rendition of "Ain't no sunshine", which is, in my humble opinion, one of the very best covers of any song ever. If you've not seen it, react to it!
😂😂😂❤ I don't think I've ever laughed so hard watching someone react to a video😊. Your enthusiasm, energy and enjoyment of this masterpiece is very infectious. Thanks for this wonderful reaction 😊😊👍🏻😁😁❣️
3:25 This part is always my favorite part of every reaction to the same song on every channel. Just that moment, when people reacted to this part of this music video.
I'd recommend reacting to Geoff's version of I See Fire (originally by Ed Sheeran). Not only a great song, but it also showcases Geoff's range and talent. For Voiceplay, the acapella group he sings with, they do amazing covers of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica and We Don't Talk About Bruno from Encanto among many others.
Wonderful reaction, Rachel. Geoff is an amazing vocalist, sounding great over his 5 octave range. One of my favorites is a fairly early one, his cover of "Blackbird" by the Beatles. For the spooky season, he also has some spoken word stuff such as "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe. Perfect voice for Poe.
It has to be said that there is a place now for a voice like this, after all those boy bands we've been used to for so long. It's a much more mature sound, let's face it. You're not alone. The number of supporters and patreon members he has proves that many many people love him. Wow this is great. Dude can hit those low notes. There is an entire cover album for Nightmare Before Christmas called "Nightmare Revisited". You should check it out if you're a NBC fan.
Another video just came out with him and the group he's in (VoicePlay). He's basically the lead in this one called "Hell Fire"; a cover from the Hunch Back of Notre Dame. He's great in that one too.
There are a few compilation videos of women..."finding religion" listening to Jeff (and Tim Foust)...so Low definitely has an audience. I quite like his take on Oogie Boogie's song. The Home Free ft. Oak Ridge Boys version of Elvira (country song...no relation to the Mistress of the Dark) even has a bit of the old vs new low competition.
You should also try Hellfire, with his group VoicePlay. The original song is undeniably uncomfortable. It's supposed to be. This cover however is on another level. It's actually threatening in a way the original isn't! So well done!
He has a 4 1/2 octive range all the way to A0. If you like that you should hear him in four-part harmony with himself. He does a version of "16 Tons" Tennesse Ernie Ford song. And if your thinking about Halloween he did "The Monster Mash" that is quite good. I just found your channel so I am catching up on some of your older videos. The new stuff in not my cup of tea but I'm old and grew up on the radio. When you do something older that I know I will watch, I like seeing what other people think of the music I grew up loving and playing.
You definitely need to check out more of his solo stuff from his channel but you also have to check out his acapella group called "Voiceplay"!! Voiceplay has a tom of amazing videos and their most recent which is think you'll love is their cover of "Hellfire" from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"
If you love the bass notes; Geoff Castellucci, and Voiceplay; Tim Foust and Home Free (Country Acapella); Avi Kaplan used to be in Pentatonix and the current bass there Matt Sallee and actually The Bass Gang has some cool stuff too!
Danny Elfman wrote the music for Nightmare Before Christmas and sang all of Jack's parts in the movie. 🎵 The Simpsons 🎵 Can you hear it? Danny Elfman wrote and performed that too. No idea what single piece to recommend. Maybe the Farewell show, Halloween 1995
This is my first time watching one of your reactions. I really enjoyed it. Watching your face was quite entertaining. 😆 Have you listened to his cover of "Imagine" yet? It made me melt.
Honestly, I am not sure what ismore impressive and more insane... Geoff's range (something like 5 octaves?) or how easily he can switch between extremes.
You were right - your "discoveries" were obvious! lol As others have pointed out, he has a lot of solo work as well as his work with Voiceplay. They have been running approximately one new song per month.
Us basses and baritones don't get the love we deserve (well, my wife loves me, but in general...). Sisters of Mercy, Dreadful Shadows both sing bass/baritone. HIM dips into it. You should listen......
Sounds like you've just been 'Geoffed'! 😄You really need to check out 'Oogie Boogie Song' by the group that he is a part of - Voiceplay! That will show you even more of his higher range, as will more of his own covers, including 'I See Fire' from the Hobbit trilogy! Funny how his lows seem to have this effect on all women...? 😉Subbed in the hope of more VP and Geoff! FYI - you need to let it run over the Patreon members, especially on Geoff's, as he often shows some BTS clips or a fun message - VP's outros often have some fun stuff at the end too!

SIXTEEN TONS | Low Bass Singer Cover
YOU'RE A MEAN ONE MR. GRINCH | VoicePlay Feat. Adriana Arellano
Most artists have a house where their voice live, sometimes they dip down to the basement or up to the attic but mostly swing around the living area.
Geoff has a house, with a basement, sub basement, upper floor, and an attic 😅 he is incredible
At the start: “Im getting shivers”
Me: “haha, oh, you are in trouble dear”
Geoff is my fave singer let alone bass singer with his 4 octave range!!
Wow this is great. Dude can hit those low notes. There is an entire cover album for Nightmare Before Christmas called "Nightmare Revisited". You should check it out if you're a NBC fan.
That high note is tenor high c
Eargasm accomplished, Rachel happy. This was fun to watch. 😅
Suggest continuing with “Sixteen Tons” or “Ghost Riders in the Sky”.
This is my favorite song ever ❤❤
Masterpiece🤩👏I knew Goeff only this week but i'am altedy in love whit him❤
I feel you Sister. When i heard Geoff for the first time my pants went wet immediately…:)
Since you like bass voices, try Home Free's cover of Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan. You get two for one!!!
All of Geoff's work is great, but my favorites are Ain't no sunshine and Oogie Boogie song.
Ooo good set….😂
I did just hear that note at 100%!!!
You'll love his cover of Blackbird.
Bobby bass| hoist the colors. You will not be sorry
You should check out his “I see fire”. Heck anything he does. For voiceplay anything but hoist the colors is a great start
need more geoff
Giving Brandon lee with the look and the hair 😊
The inuendo is perfect.
Being able to sing that low is actually pretty rare let alone well.
