Boomer here 🙋🏻♂️ When I was growing up the school gave us all notebook planners and we were required to use them for our schedule and even were graded on them.
Wow yes I was born in 94 and I remember looking forward to the first day of school and seeing all our new planners for the year omg

I'm in high school rn and my 6th grade English teacher would grade our planners. No, she was not a boomer. Just strict
They do that for us but they don’t grade them. Every day before the bell rang we would have to write in hw assignments and upcoming tests. They were more strict about it in elementary school though for some reason

Fun fact, I really wanted to be an English teacher. But I never got enough education. (My mental illness got in the way). I do have like 98 credit hours at the community college. I tried going back i n2014, but it was so hard. Also, I would have had to get an Orcam Learn to read the textbooks. My eyesight got a lot worse. I can't read regular print. My Kindle e-reader 2019 helps out so much!! That's how I read now.
Same ever since I was a little girl I always thought about either being an ER doctor or a teacher! I went to cosmetology school right out of high school, and withdrew from school seven months in because of my mental illness.

Yes! My hubby dreamed to do an iron man and did his first which was a half iron man in Lawrence, Kansas!!! All the hills and so grateful for cloud cover that day! Because soooooo many hills!!!!!!!! That was about 5-6 years ago but Kansas definitely isn’t flat lol

Lol it's okay. I grew up in south central Kansas being raised by native Texans, and the kids in my schools always made fun of my twin sister and I for saying stuff like "soda" instead of "pop." It was stupid! 😂😂
I only eat home cooked food mon to Friday if I'm at home if I'm on holidays or it's weekend I just have takeaway no point in cooking if u don't have to and I only cook because if got a dishwasher which is awesome because I don't have to wash by hand and I never will wash dishes by hand .

How long are Summer Breaks in the US?
For public schools, usually anywhere from early June to early September. College breaks can be from early May to early August. So around 3 months!
