The League Cup semi Final 2nd Leg from 1989. Poised at 1-1 from the away game City were the width of the post away from a major shock and a trip to Wembley . Sadly and extra time goal from Parker nicked it for Forest in extra time, they went on to win the final against Luton.

The coldest and wettest I've been at a Forest match. Was worth it though when Parker smashed the ball into the net. What jubilation on that terrace for thousands of Forest fans

I remember it rained non-stop for 3 days before the game and then non-stop throughout the game. It only went ahead because it was being televised live. Also remember it was windy throughout and it was the height of the inflatables craze!
