Does anyone know my the entire map doesn’t have any blips or locations and my phone won’t come up? I’m trying to make it similar to GTA V Online for me and my brother so we can run mods. But GTA V Online does like mods so this is the best I can do. I’ve set up the server but all I can do is drive around really and die.
You need to add scripts to your server. Blips typically come from certain locations with scripts running there. That’s probably why you’re not seeing very many as you have a new server.

There are some servers for sale out there. But you would still have to locally set it up on your PC or use a server host provider to host it on. If you’re needing more help, you can join the discord and DM me if you’d like or open a ticket 🙂
XAMPP is an app that opens up the necessary ports for the server. You should be able to install xampp to either one of your computers storage drives and then open it up and only start the top 2 options. Then you are able to minimize xampp and then start your server with the FXserver.exe
i can't get my api key i watched a tons of yt vids and still don't know whats wrong it says something like ¨waiting for permission from steam guard-mobileauthenticator¨ idk what to do
Yes you can transfer your server to most hosting websites. Typically when you host your server through a provider, they use a program called WinSCP to upload your resources to 🙂 if you need anymore help or have questions, you can join discord and open a ticket. I’ll be glad to answer any questions!
You have to set yourself as the admin of the server into your server.cfg. There is information online to help you out with this. Look up how to add permissions to FiveM Server
@@Dgthegheabsolutely! They should be able to join if the server is online. If they are running into an issue joining and get an error code, you may have to port forward the ports at the top of your server.cfg to your router. There are some tutorials on this 🙂
Sometimes this can happen through txAdmin if the connection got lost for a second. Alternatively, you can just open the server.cfg from the server folder, and make the changes that way. It will guarantee a save 🙂
This is an easy fix! Simply start XAMPP on your PC and start the first two options in that program called Apache and MySQL 🙂 this happens with locally hosted servers, as it will access your database and open the server up
Here is the template for the set job command: /setjob 1 mechanic 4 This example shows exactly how to do this command if you’re an admin or owner of the server. The number 1 will be replaced with the player ID, and the last number (4) is the grade of the job. Some jobs have different grades, you can find them in your shared jobs.lua of your qb-core folder 🙂
No FiveM downloads or software mentioned in this tutorial is a virus. Make sure you are downloading from the trusted sites. Also if you’re using google chrome, that will happen. Chrome sucks
If you’re wanting to delete your locally hosted server from your PC, simply delete the txData folder where you installed it. Keep the FXServer folder if you’re just wanted to rebuild the server, otherwise you can simply delete that as well 🙂

Yes this is absolutely free to do. The only things that are paid are some things such as paid scripts, vehicles, MLOs, etc. But there are plenty of free scripts, MLOs and other things for a FiveM server. Hosting the server on your PC is free yes, but if you’re wanting DDoS protection, better performance, etc. there are some server hosts online that you can pay for monthly. Otherwise you can build a whole server with free resources, and play with friends up to 48 players. If you’re wanting more slots available, that does cost money.

You may want to retry installing the server fresh. Sometimes that can happen if a mistake was made

It seems like you have a 2 step authentication setup on your steam account. You’ll most likely have to verify its login.

What does it means if it says could not authenticate server license key. Your key is not matching the initial ip address. I did everything right. 😢
Your server license key will be listed on your keymaster, you can copy it and put it in the proper location in your server.cfg. It’s near the top.
Your initial server IP should be your IP, go to google and search “What’s my IP”

Your FXserver is only suppose to have the files it comes with for the server build you download. XAMPP has to be installed to its own folder to work.

Search steam web api on google, click on the registration link, and then register your steam account. You will need it for certain things.
