the best momnet in MCU and I am so glad that they actually did this....these movies are just business actually for some people but this kind of things are possible in real life movie is because kevin feige is a fan of comic book characters....he understands what it's like to see your favourite characters come to life and have a conversation we all know and want them to have....
Yeah, also, the reason I’m so much younger than you guys is because I spent five years sorta-dead. Because that purple alien I fought literally snapped half of all life in the universe away. And *I* was in that half- but other heroes saved the day! It involved time travel, or something; but it still took them like five years to bring everyone back (me included). I wanna see *that* conversation…
Yeah, Garfield is an amazing ( _hehe_ ) actor and doesn’t deserve the blame for the Webb movies’ faults. *Strengths* The first movie is still a pretty damn entertaining watch, imo. The Lizard is a great villain in this movie, with great visual effects and good-looking fight scenes. Peter’s relationship with Dr. Conners, May & Ben, and the city of New York (though not _quite_ as prevalent as it is in the Raimi movies) makes for a solid emotional core that runs through the whole movie. The movie has a couple _fantastic_ scenes of Spider-Man helping civilians out of dangerous situations and comforting them, and shows both the physical and emotional toll this takes on Peter, as well as just how much New Yorkers recognize and appreciate what Spider-Man does for them. There are a couple moments that genuinely still make me tear up. *Weaknesses* I’d say that the weakest parts (narratively) are the few scenes that are there to set up Peter’s parents (primarily his father) for their parts in subsequent movies, but they’re at least pretty low-key and unobtrusive in the first movie. Some people also find that Peter is a _little_ bit too much of a jerk when he first starts out as Spider-Man, but otherwise there’s nothing else objectively wrong with those scenes. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were also allowed to ad lib some of Peter and Gwen’s flirting/relationship scenes because the two were dating at the time. Something about ‘authentic on-screen chemistry’. I thought that they managed to accurately portray how two teenagers in a new relationship hanging out together act and speak, but apparently some audience members just didn’t click with those more “unpolished” scenes. I didn’t even notice it was improv the first time I watched it, but that was probably because I was a teenager at the time and they didn’t stick out to me as out of the ordinary. *The second movie* I haven’t actually seen the second movie start-to-finish in order, but from what I’ve seen and heard, it tried to fit too much stuff into one movie’s runtime (Electro, Harry/Green Goblin, the Rhino, the Death of Gwen Stacy storyline from the comics, teasing the Sinister Six for the next movie, etc.), the stuff that needed setup hadn’t gotten any (oh hello Harry, where tf where you last movie?), and as a result the writing and pacing of the film suffered. They also tried to pay off some of the setup from the first movie about Peter’s father being like, a secret agent (???) or something. Idk, I think it was a dumb decision to focus on that in the first place and there was certainly no room for it. This movie definitely had the potential to be a good Spider-Man movie, and there are some genuinely funny (on purpose) scenes in it, but it sadly wasn’t streamlined enough to be a traditionally good movie, nor was it able to lean into its camp-y elements like the Raimi movies did (that trilogy was camp-y and ridiculous as fuck from the beginning of the first movie to end of the third, but audiences were entertained and were able to take them seriously because the movies _themselves_ took the camp completely seriously too). *TL;DR* If Garfield’s portrayal didn’t bother you in No Way Home, you’ll probably enjoy the first The Amazing Spider-Man movie. The Amazing Spider-Man two is skippable, and if you don’t want to watch it but still want to know more about the story, you can find some entertaining recap/review videos on TH-cam. … I didn’t intend to write this much when I started writing my comment. I understand why some TH-camrs really like making hours-long video essays now.
Heros: "The world hurt me I'm not going to let it hurt anyone else." Villains: "The World hurt me I'ma hurt it back." Heros don't let pain hurt others Villains are used by Pain
soo, they all need to make their own web and it insanely strong somehow .... and they spray it all over da city .... who and how clean da those web ?? (no i didnt watch their movie)
I dunno. Toby is a really good peter parker, but not a very good spiderman. Garfield is a good spiderman but not a very good peter parker. Tom holland is a meh parker and a meh spiderman, but at least he fits both roles somewhat.
"You are amazing"
Say that again
peak cinema
✋️😐🤚
"Absolute Cinema"
One more time
This was one of the best moments in Marvel cinematic history.
Tom is like the dad of the group that picks up everybody’s mood

Andrew Garfield is literally the amazing Spider-Man
Yes that’s the joke, thank you for explaining it oh wise one
@ Keeping you guys up to speed is exhausting man
The way they talk to each other is too chaot
Yes, Desmond Dos is amazing.

Andrew forgot to mention that he fought electro, Dr. lizard and he fought electro, green Goblin and rhino in the same movie
Garfield is my favourite Spiderman, though he wasn't my first
Can’t you guys just love em all and settle this
I never watched the Andrew Garfield movies, but seeing him in this tells me he wasn't the problem with them.
They're still worth watching. Despite the less quality storylines, he's still an incredible Spider-Man.
@@Phantom_c8 Nah he was an amazing Spider-Man
They just suffered from being a reboot at a time were people werent really open to reboots.

@@Enesidaone I really appreciate the in-depth breakdown! I'll give the first ASM movie a shot for sure, thanks to you!
He’s Amazing spider man that’s pretty dunny
I love this😊😂❤
Peak Marvel.
This time, no one ask "whats the name of the movie? " 😅
Well at the end there is this question
ITS BATMAN
Heros: "The world hurt me I'm not going to let it hurt anyone else."
Villains: "The World hurt me I'ma hurt it back."
Heros don't let pain hurt others
Villains are used by Pain
When talking to yourself
I still can't believe this happened
can u start putting the title under your shorts?...
Movie name : spider man no way home
soo, they all need to make their own web and it insanely strong somehow .... and they spray it all over da city ....
who and how clean da those web ??
(no i didnt watch their movie)
Their web dissolves over time, I think it only lasts a few hours.
whats the name of the movie ?
Spider man no way home

Garfield's portrayal is based on the ultimate Spider-Man comics. He's more accurate as both Spider-Man and Peter than you think
Yeh I can see that, but Tobey is Tobey. Thru memes and tears he's the goat
