impressive bit of kit,and when watching the video i was thinking 'i will have to get myself one of those'until i clicked on the link and saw the price. No thanks i will just keep my £10 compressor which only takes up a small amount of space in my top box and i dont have to remember to keep it fully charged all the time.
I've seen a few of these videos now reviewing this. Cycplus have obviously sent a few out to get them banded about. It looks a decent piece of kit, but not sure I'd pay £99 for it. Nice review👍👍
Impressive kit. I couldn’t justify the expense and will continue to use the small bicycle pumps which cost about £15. I have unfortunately/fortunately, depending on your view, had to use this three times. Yes, it takes a while to pump up a rear 130 tyre, but… Wouldn’t mind the Cycplus if it were a Christmas present 😊
Bloody hell, thats amazing for such a small device . I bought the Ring RTC 4000 last year , probably twice the size of the one you demonstrated, oh well, never mind !. Excellent video.
Thanks for this i have just bought one and saved a few quid. I've been thinking of the AS2 for a while, but on my way home from a small tour in the borders thursday, i noticed my back tyre felt a little deflated, so pressed on another 10 miles to Alston where i used an air line at the texaco station for an eye watering £1.50 (last time i used one they were free lol). I like small and compact stuff as i dont take a lot of luggage, so this will fit in my tail bag great. I aint happy about finding a tiny screw lodged in a 2 month old tyre and it costing me £200 for a replacement, but them's the breaks i suppose !!. GL
Congratulation on reaching 10k subscribers, Dave! The inflator looks to be a very useful piece of kit; could have used one on a recent group ride when one of the bikes suffered a slow leak. Of course, back in the day, bikes came equipped with a bicycle-style hand pump. I think the lack thereof on modern machines - like mudguards that work and centre-stands - is called progress.
120 psi is for road pushbike tyres... which the pump was predominantly intended for... light enough to fit into their lycia backpockets... looks good kit to get you out of trouble though
Really nice piece of kit Dave. Strangely enough, I was cleaning the Honda Rebel yesterday. I had done the tyre pressures last week, putting on a right angle valve, which I purchased from wish. Yes, the tyre was as flat as a bannock! Leaky valve. No problem, I got a portable air compressor I bought from Amazon, great functionality. But took about 10 minutes to inflate the tyre ((Rebel, is Fatter) was left with 1 bar! This machine is more compact and did it, in a heartbeat!😊😊😊 Wowser.
Morning TBW, i have a repair kit that came with those gas canisters, this is a much better way to inflate your tyres so this is going onto my fathers day list of essentials.....
Congrats on the 10k subs mate , I`ve seen this before looks a decent bit of kit , bit pricey but if it is quality and lasts then its a decent investment.
Another brilliant pice of kit Dave you’ve demonstrated. 5% discount too. Hell, you can’t get better than that. Great demo video Dave, absolute cinch to use by the look of things. Nice one bud. 👍🏍📹
Nice to see another piece to camera Dave 👍. Very much looking forward to this review. In the meantime, I always check I'm subscribed. But it doesn't hurt to just click it again to refresh. Let's get you to 10k subscribers! Right then - on with the video 😊
Ay-up .. nearly at 10K :) ... thanks for the discount code, I've ordered one as thse 50's or £1's add up if you use the public ones and we've got 4 bikes & 3 cars to keep inflated!
I have a standard foot pump at home , but carry a motorcycle repair kit that contains sticky rope plugs , plus several co 2 bottles with an inflator attachment. A few years back I purchased an inflater from a well known high street catalogue store . It’s a small orange coloured plastic box with a tyre pressure gauge & inflater tube attached . The device has RAC on it & made in China ,it comes with a crocodile clip & car or motorcycle cigarette socket attachment plug & lead . I haven’t tried it yet , but I heard they take about 7 mins to inflate a motorcycle tyre ( cost a few Quid ) . That inflater you got ,looks less than half the size , & does a fast job , looks like it’s really intended for the Lycra brigade on push bikes ,with skinny high pressure ( 95 psi + ) racing tyres ,more than your motorcyclist . I am a bit sceptical of something that small & fast , lasting the pace . If it’s only a few quid say around 30 quid it’s maybe worth a punt, I have a top case or under seat storage on my motorcycles ,so I don’t really need ,an inflater that size . I can remember seeing some motorcycles I think MZ that came fitted with bicycle pumps in olden days , always a good back up . 👍
They are about £100 on Amazon, which is a bit steep for something to carry on your bike just in case you need to blow a tyre up while out and about, I think I will stick with my repair kit and CO2 cartridges.
@@slappyfz1s402I agree priced at a 100 quid ,they must be having a laugh . I will stick to the set up I have already & maybe add a small bicycle hand pump ,as an extra back up .
Wowser that is one expensive piece of kit there lad, I am thinking the larger model (A8) would still suffice at half the price I will learn to live with the extra bulk... I am not from Yorshire but by'eck lad
Good review.. I'd give it some serious consideration if it was half the price they are selling them at! There are much cheaper options available that would do the same job. Having said that, if you've got buckets of spare money, and you're someone who is pushed for space to carry a tyre inflater this would do the job. For me to buy it at the advertised price I'd also want included vouchers to purchase 30 gallons of 2 star, 10,000 Green Shield Stamps, and a shot of Red-X on every fill up lol. Them were the days, when a lass would come out and squirt it in your tank with a smile on her face lol. Us lads here in Lancashire are a bit more savvy when it comes to parting with our dosh, lol. Thanks for the video, B.W. 👍
Need to buy a replacement tyre inflator. Can anyone who has purchased a Cycplus via the website linked by TBW, confirm if there were any fees/duty to pay on delivery? Thanks
The unit I have from Aldi is 4x the size ok for the pannier while on tour but this unit is very compact, thanks will have to check if available in Australia. Nice chunky tyre on the royal Enfield and is that exhaust standard or upgraded ?
l know what you mean about crawling about on the floor/ground 'fiddling' wif ya bike. More especially when one's body isn't as supple as it once was. However, in the absence of a roadside usable Bikelift. l suppose in this case one could rotate the wheel so the valve is toward the top rather than the bottom..
Yes it would get there easily / quickly on a bicycle tire, however would probable not achieve 20 psi on a tractor tyre, it’s all about mass flow rather than psi ie how much of the stuff (air) you need to move from A to T Atmosphere to Tyre 😂😂😂😂 expect a lot longer times/ battery usage on large car tyres, nevertheless a great little product for our purposes thanks for the review 👍😀
Doesn't look like it has a replaceable battery. If you get one use it all the time to get your money out of it, once it's dead, it's dead. Might not be too hard to replace if you are familiar with spot-welding lithium-ion batteries but that's a minority of users. That said; if you need a pump often, this looks like nice.
Great video. But nearly 70 quid?!? It's about 40 quid more than I'd want to pay for something like that. Nice if u got it for free, but I wouldn't pay that much for a tyre pump.

Easier than digging out my compressor I might have to invest. Thanks for the top information and demonstration 👍🏻👍🏻

Afternoon TBW 😊 almost 10,000 subscribers 👍 Foot pumps never need charging, but this looks far better than the eBay special that I bought. Nice one 😊
32 psi for the Classic Dave 😊
Yes James 32 psi….35 with pillion
I just brought one a couple of weeks ago. Different model but does the same job. Great little pumps!

10,000. Congratulations and fully deserved 🎉
Thank you so much you’re the first to notice 😁
Great little pump. I'm gonna get one. A bottle of gloop for the Classic 350 and a tubeless repair kit for the incoming bike 🤫
10k congrats Dave
Thank you 😎👍🏻
Amazing bit of kit, thanks for sharing Dave and congratulations on a well deserved 10k subscribers.
Thank you Stephen 😎👍🏻
I carry a can of Fix A Flat with me just in case. I have had good luck with it. My URAL side car outfit came with a tire pump.
you don't want to use Fix a flat that puts mess in your wheel that causes problems.
What more do you need Dave , plus a really nice size too , take care & ride safe
Great bit of kit compared to the bulky one I carry about.
I like it! Thank you for sharing and showing it in action.

This looks a very handy gadget for touring and even the few hour/day rider...
Brilliant, a right handy piece of kit. Thanks for the demo. Cheers Tony
Thanks looks a good piece of kit ,just bought one
Cheers Mick
9,99k subscribers !! You're about to be there 👋✌
I’ve had one for a few months and it’s a great piece of kit, so compact, not cheap but works very well.
Not cheap! I'll say over £100 😮I'm beginning to wonder if TBW is actually a true Yorkshire man 😉 💷💷💷
I have one similar, great little devices. 👍 how things have miniaturised over the years
Well done on 10k
Thank you Nick much appreciated buddy 😎👍🏻

You can get some very small bicycle manual pumps, that fit under your bike seat. Just saying. You are welcome, you are doing fine, keep it up. 🏍🏍🏍
My only problem with these small electric pumps is, they don’t stay working for very long? Maybe I’m buying the cheaper ones? But, they don’t last?
It seems these ones do last

Standard exhaust Malcolm but 50/50 tyres
Watching you do this it occurred to me we should all be issued motorcycle lifts at birth.

Or on prescription at 16 definitely 👍😁
As you mentioned the subscribe thing, I always check. Just lately, I have found myself having to resubscribe EVERY VIDEO! surely that's not right?
9:32 just because it can be set up to 120 psi doesn't mean it will have the battery power to get there Dave 😏
Who needs 120 PSI? And I’ll bet in can get there on a racing pushbike tyre

Looks good
Great little device, but the price is shocking 😮
looks like a great little product. appreciate you sharing👍. could you do a test to see how many times it will inflate before running out of juice?
At least four would be my educated guess
@@thebingleywheeler thank you 👍🏻
that would go under the seat of a motorcycle, takes about 1 hour to charge, make a nice Fathers day present.
Hi Dave. is this available in the UK? Looks great
Yes it is pal 👍🏻
Great video. But nearly 70 quid?!? It's about 40 quid more than I'd want to pay for something like that. Nice if u got it for free, but I wouldn't pay that much for a tyre pump.
All going well till l saw the price!!
I don’t mind knowing about things, but the whole lot could have been done in three minutes, switch on does it do the job, yes, job done!!
Errr no
Like anything just wait and there will be a copy from china along at half the price (yes virtually everything is from china)
Gosh you’re boring with subscription begging.
Don’t watch it then you muppet!
