Just an absolutely great movie with a wonderful and feel good ending. I used to watch Wonderful World of Disney back in the day with the whole family. Great memories for a 61 year old man who still believes in a strong handshake and looking people in the eye when you speak to them.
There are few things better then the satisfaction of a promise kept and a job well done. 60 years here and I remember watching these wonderful stories every Sunday at 7:00 👍
Great movie!!! No filth, no fowl language, no killing each other,,, just an out right good movie of growing to know and learn wisdom from someone that has been through the creek and over the mountains a few times,,, Like my dad used to say ,,, He's like an old wagon wheel,, He's been around a time or two!!! 😉
The young guy hesitating about going on with the horses played jon on CHIPs tv show. Funny seeing him on horse instead of a California highway patrol motorcycle.
When I was a little girl my mother bought me a set of those metal puzzles. I never could separate any of them and I would get so frustrated that I would cry. 😅
Good movie. Jim Davis was an awesome actor for many years. Some good morals then that we do not so much now. Sorry people are still with us. They will get theirs in the end.

I SURE AM GLAD THAT THEY DID NOT EDIT OUT THAT HAT SWITCH IN THE END OF THE MOVIE 🐂🐂🐂🐂🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂 WHERE THE KID GETS HIS NEW HAT AND PUTS HIS OLD ONE ON THE FENCE POST, AND RIGHT AFTER SOME OTHER GUY LIKES THAT HAT BETTER THAN HIS OWN AND TRADES HIS OLD HAT FOR THE NICER STRAW HAT
When a movie had a story, and not just a lot of bang bang shoot em up, car chases, and explosions. Nice and clean. To bad the video quality is not up to today's standards.
Oh yes, I remember now that I commented that in the Walt Disney movies the bad guys don't get killed and now I can understand why they don't. That would have been murder In this movie and would have opened up a whole new can of worms. 😅😅😅😅😅
In the begining there was an active force floating over the surface of the ground and was called a poltergiest which is very powerful force of energy and something sacred even native americans believe in the power of a poltergiest its Gods power and he still makes use of it!
The sad part is Don't bother feeding and watering em just take em to the holding pens. Is the reality of $ vs humanity. And it's so today. It's called the horse auction slaughter pipeline.
Jim Davis went on to fame as Jock Ewing in Dallas. Larry Wilcox went on to the show CHIPs. Charles Hoagland, "the Old-timer" was my dad.

Where did they get such skinny horses? Hope they didn't starve them just to mare this movie! Nowadays they SPCA would protect them.
