I bought a couple of mesh lingerie bags at the dollar store and put a couple of pairs of socks in each one. They stay in them from the washer to the dryer to each person’s room!🙌🏻 (From Central Pennsylvania,USA)
I do the same thing. I hang 4 empty bags on a hook in my bedroom. I only put 2 pair in at a time. Zip it up, wash, dry and put away. Haven't lost a sock in years. Take them on vaca. Too!
@@gettingtidy2495 Look at Department store areas where they sell clothes pins and clothes lines or maybe where they sell bras and stockings because they’re called lingerie bags?🤷🏼♀️
love the river pictures at the beginning. Hope your husbands back starts to feel better soon. Were you able to finally get his drawer unstuck. I'm so happy for you every time I see stuff leave your house. Again, try asking the lady you gave baby clothes to about the car seats. She might appreciate it very much.🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤🦋🦋❤❤
Hi Friend! Thanks for the beautiful river video and church photo. Lovely! I also don’t like folding and putting away clean clothes. I try to remind myself that it only takes ten minutes to put a few loads away as soon as they’re dry. I pretty much have to force myself to finish that task. I do tend to let the clean towels and sheets sit in a basket longer than the clothes. One idea for your lower wall built in cabinets in your bedroom: maybe eventually get some shallow plastic bins with lids that can stack so it might be quicker to pull things out. Or some zipper storage bags either plastic or canvas. 😊
Glad to know I'm not the only one..... it's because I have no space..... That would work better for many things like my Easter decorations. Only problem is it's a sloped roof so soft things in bags squash in easily 😁 Thanks for your comment and ideas 💡
Thanks for the scenery shots, would love to visit one day. I peg my socks in pairs on the line so when I take them off I fold them together straight away. I also fold the clothes as I take them off the line, it takes a bit longer but it’s kind of like doing two jobs in one. Then they sit in the basket for over a week 😂 You are doing a great job, it’s very inspiring.
@@gettingtidy2495 you’re welcome. I’m from New Zealand but my mums family is from Milstead in Kent. They used to own Milstead Manor which I believe is now a B&B. I would love to come see it with my Mum some day. Will have to save up 😊. ❤️ Becky
Hi Emma great video ur doing great clean up it looks massive were u live i love ur back garden hope ur all well u have a lovely home to your cleaning up is coming on great hopefully ur husband back gets betteri love ur kitchen love barbara ❤
Hi, I think the reason why you keep getting odd socks Emma is because you don't put your washing away as soon as you have done it and when you put it upstairs in piles the washing all gets muddled up hence the odd socks. Try to put your washing away as soon as you have done one wash. Only a thought. Good luck. I hope this works. Lovely clean up today. Well done! X
I heard you say in a previous video how it didnt take long for you to tidy your living room and I thought yep Emma your really getting there. Its crazy how earlier on in life we are always wanting wanting wanting them we get to a point where we want to get rid of as much as we can. My moto is as long as I have enough im good happy with that, less in my home less to clean move etc 😊😊
Yes you're right society tells us that we need more stuff.....when we really don't, we don't need big houses either....only we are driven to fill our bigger houses with our stuff!
We are in the very north of Scotland: LAPLAND alla Highlands! HAHA! I have one season of wardrobe selections: C O L D! Um, I came across three pairs of sandals in my shoe box storage. HAHAHA: donate! I can keep one pair, but there is one pair that is not suitable for sheep droppings everywhere I walk nor midges eating my feet. Good luck with your deep cupboard sort out! WOW! It's an Aladdin's cavern!
Most places don’t take car seats for children. I have heard that you should not put another child in a seat that has been used before. Even if they have not been in a accident. Thats why people are wary of second hand seats. Caroline a Yorkshire lass who live in London. ❤️
I understand not reusing a car seat that has been in an accident but what is the reason for them being only one child use?( I’m sure they are passed down within families?)
I can understand when passing down to families. But it has been known people say its not been in a accident but it is not true. Thats why charity shops don’t take them.
What a beautiful start to the video. Thanks for sharing the stunning scenery.
You're welcome
Well done, youve cleared the right hand side of the work top by moving it all to the left!
Ha ha, no, those items are not from the worktop. They are things that need a home or need to be binned, but do not belong to me.
