Thanks for sharing the info in English bro. Fantastic suggestion “as don’t rely on the oil pump” This was a very good lesson for me bcz when I bought the bike the oil pump was working and after some days it got failed and I haven’t noticed it for a week or so, later the engine was getting more crank sound than usual, more sound from piston as less 2t oil was going to the engine and when I took it near my mechanic he said engine was getting bore noise, so yeah now I’m using premix so we can have exact quantity of how much oil is gng to tank.
I own a rx 100 (1989). Earlier when I restored it everything was fine and easily cruising over 120. But now as I touches 100kmph. My engine off and gives hiccups. And work fine after it degrade to 70-80. Earlier mileage was also 35 above. Now it is around 25. I have checked spark plug ,air filter and bike tuning. Everything is fine and normal. Even the bike's noise also
May I suggest something.....A thorough cleaning of the carburettor, jets, also do not forget to check if petrol overflows at times. Second, Clutch and pressure plates. Ideally pressure plates are the ones important, but if required, change both at the same time. Third, the 2T oil pump supply, also, check the coil beneath the petrol tank, if there is a crack or if its broken. And one last thing that you might find surprising, there's a very tiny little hole in the lid of the petrol tank, check if its clogged, it can be cleaned with a thin wire, as it happened with my friends rx100, it used to stop every 5kms as if it is getting ceased. When we explained this to our mechanic, he just cleaned it and everything was back to normal...

You can purchase from online sellers, there are 2 on instagram. Adarsh/ tuner craft and savin spares. But i would suggest you to go for an old original rx100 tank. Get it painted. The new ones that are available in the market are not at all of good quality. After some months the petrol tank shape would change because of bad quality.
Ja re bhai... Bindaas jaa.. Rx performs exceptionally well as compared to same cc 4 stroke bikes... I can say so because i have travelled twice my 1992 rx100....If its a well maintained rx....go without any hesitation
@@rakshithbs4372 I am not a sir or guruji or Gyaani.... I had a stock rx100 1992 model and my other friends own 1988 rx and a 1993 Rx100. All of them have been kept close to the original stock condition as it was when the bike was launched in the market. No after market or any kind of modifications. I may not be able to predict what you can expect from your bike. Your are the best judge and the rider of the machine you own. If you are a bit skeptical about your bike's performance, start with short rides of 100 - 150kms and increase it gradually and slowly by adding a few more kms every other ride. Only then, you may be able to find out your and your bike's limit. I used to travel 400kms in about 8 hrs (actual travel time excluding break) and my bike never over heated or engine cut off or stalled or anything.....
@@rakshithbs4372 Also, i have seen a lot of videos about rx where Riders insist on adding 2T oil in the petrol tank and cutting off the supply from the actual oil pump. I and my friends never till date have done it. We have been on long trips: Mumbai - Goa, Mumbai - Jaipur, travelled Leh Ladakh twice, but never ever cut off the oil pump supply. Our mechanic always says: Never fidget with the carburettor and the oil pump unnecessarily. Once serviced and checked, let it function.
In many cases, the oil pump fails when riding 80-90 constantly and that's the worst thing to happen when your on a long ride. If the engine is not getting proper 2t oil then the piston will seize then you would have to get a new piston and get it rebored. Lots of headache. For city riding you can keep an eye in the rear view mirrors and see if the bike is smoking well. If its smoking then its good, the moment you dont see smoke that's when the engine is in trouble. I would recommend you to use oil pump in city but even though add some oil in tank just to be on safer side.
@@motosoul How did you arrive on a conclusion that the 2T oil pump fails at 80-90? If it has to fail, it may fail even at idle speed......It's a good practice that we should be adding oil in the petrol tank, but completely cutting off the 2T oil pump supply shouldn't be recommended. If the guys(Japanese) who invented these extraordinary machines like Rx and Rd gave a separate reservoir for 2T oil, there must be a reason. I have used Rx for almost 15 yrs now and it still has the same oil pump it originally came with, the oil thing I have replaced a couple of times is the oil seal. Too much of fidgeting with the oil pump will cause it to fail. On Rx, do not touch the carburettor and the oil pump too often, in other words, baar baar ungli nahi karne ka as per our Mechanic....
Now everyone is changing the rear tyre rim to Yezdi and 16 inch tyre with TVS Phoenix shocks.. Will it be more comfortable? am using stock condition only.. planning to modify a bit. Please suggest
Yes very comfortable. Tvs Phoenix with yezdi wheel is the best combo. If you dont want to go for yezdi wheel then bajaj platina shocks are best for stock tyre size
Nothing will happen maintain 2t Oil pump mainly don't dry 2t tank air will be blocked after filling 2t oil in pump u release air again and use its so fill oil early

The length is more than the normal Rd 350 handle bar ? Or wats the difference ? Please
Where can I get this bag & seat
Where can i find the original rx100 tank in India which offers shipping ?
You can purchase from online sellers, there are 2 on instagram. Adarsh/ tuner craft and savin spares. But i would suggest you to go for an old original rx100 tank. Get it painted. The new ones that are available in the market are not at all of good quality. After some months the petrol tank shape would change because of bad quality.
Chickmagalur is our city i am from chickmagalur
Karthik bhai, your city is very beautiful! Love from Hyderabad.
@@motosoul tq u bro come again to chickmagalur i am big fan of rx 100 rx 135 😘😘😘
Hi brother I have rx100 sleved engine with 0.75 bore size does it climb leh ladak .
Ja re bhai... Bindaas jaa.. Rx performs exceptionally well as compared to same cc 4 stroke bikes... I can say so because i have travelled twice my 1992 rx100....If its a well maintained rx....go without any hesitation
@@nirajahir1983 tq brother 🤘
@@nirajahir1983 sir I hav chamber attached Rx ...is it safe to do long ride it ...like without seazure ??

Ofcourse you can!
@@motosoul did you use kinetic honda dx scooter before
How much kms can I drive non stop
Yes i learnt riding on kinetic honda
Better to stop every 100kms
Walukumsalam bhai jaan
Bro why we should not rely on oil pump if it's working properly everytime
In many cases, the oil pump fails when riding 80-90 constantly and that's the worst thing to happen when your on a long ride. If the engine is not getting proper 2t oil then the piston will seize then you would have to get a new piston and get it rebored. Lots of headache. For city riding you can keep an eye in the rear view mirrors and see if the bike is smoking well. If its smoking then its good, the moment you dont see smoke that's when the engine is in trouble. I would recommend you to use oil pump in city but even though add some oil in tank just to be on safer side.
@@motosoul Thnk u soo much dear .
Bhai mere pass Rx 135 hai , mujhe ek baat bataoo Rx 💯 Best hai ya Rx 135 🤔🤔🤔

Bhai tutti oil bolto kya he
2T oil, jo oil 2stroke me mix karte
Nice video. Can you please share where to buy the soft seat and tank mount bag. Thanks in advance.
Sure. You can search for "fego float" on amazon. Tank bag you can buy from rynoxgears.com. Its called rynox optimus m tank bag
Bhai apni Jan ride ki bhi video dalo
