Probably everything you mentioned is fixed by samsung for your model. I'm not sure Sim card trick will work the only way to understand is to try, sadly.

Modem updates are different. For example I have better signal with Israel scs. Just switch to other scs.

Finally, I sold the 6 month old phone for around 40$ lost and repurchased stock s21+ again.. This is the only way to go back stock CSC code

First check in sammobile in which countries your phone is available and then try to change csc with samkey.

Us versions can switch only to us CSC. You can switch to U1 carrier unlocked CSC using Odin and SamMobile at least to get updates.
