Its nice to see a band doing quo the right way, not trying to over complicate things. Really tight, spot on harmonies too. I know you're not from my area but if you were I'd be hassling you to take me on as your "Andy Bown", would be my ideal band !
You could help recreate the 1981 tour ending to Something 'Bout You Baby I Like. Currently, they do it but without keyboards. Only band to play the 1981 tour version of that song, which is the best arrangement of the song Quo did, in my opinion.
@@walkingtheboogie just checked it out, and all I can here is a bit of a synth pad going on at the end. You may disagree but I prefer how they changed it when Rhino joined, listen to the start of the pre-chorus where Rick sings, on the original it's just straight in but after Rhino joined they changed it to give it a bit of a push into the pre chorus, which gave it a tighter sound over all.
Not sure about post-JC Quo tracks. In fact post '76 they had gone a bit soft & commercial. 1970-1976 were the glory years imho. That said, this rendition is very very good. I particularly liked the rendition of Little Lady
Fantastic
Love this, Im a big fan of the Kircher era of Quo...This sounds tight, great playing... so good hearing a modern take on it...
