Even her primary and secondary schools in Teban are haunted AF.

Teban is indeed creepy, my grandma used to live in the old blocks there and the flat was unusually dark and dreary. Just the vibes is enough to give you the creeps. Then there is the narrow twisty corridor at the back of the flat, stuff of nightmares. My aunt still lives there...alone! The old railway track nearby was also another keras site...

to hear someone else talk about their own teban tales is strangely assuring. i lived in a haunted teban gardens flat - it was really a very harrowing period of my family's life. i also lost many belongings, even shoes which weren't even put outside. a friend's aunt who stayed in teban garden also encountered a lady in red walking pass her toilet window...except she stayed on the 10th floor.
Sometime back i attended a course and a lady said wanted to go teban to set up hawker stalls

There is a old railway tunnel underneath the Jurong Town Hall cross-junction next to Teban Gardens that we investigated back in 2012 and it definitely has some weird data that was captured especially on our voice recorder: the sound of a female crying and wailing. The place is still accessible. However, it is so dilapidated and muddy now it's hard to get into it.
Anyways great work as usual Eugene and I am halfway through reading your book.

I lived in Teban for 10 years from 98 to 08. True that it was kinda dark but I never really had issues despite often coming home late. BUT once I was in my room with the door open. My back was to the door but I felt somebody was looking at me so I turned to look at the doorway but there was nothing there. I stared for a moment cos It really felt like somebody had been there.
And then ...
The blinds behind me slammed shut. It's the type of blinds where you twist the rod to slowly open or close it. It's not made to slam shut quickly. But somehow it did.
Other than this, nothing else happened for me. :)

1980s Teban had a lot of foreigners (thai) living in that area. The reservoir also very creepy especially during the night - area near the Sungai Pandan, sightings of pontianak merging in the bushes. A few suicidal case had been in Pandan Reservoir in the 1980s.
An unused locked toilet should be well cleaned before been opened for use!

I have similar story like hers . Happened in my primary school. My second floor girls toilet was haunted at the very last toilet . Den also a boy and a girl commited suicide at same primary school

I stay in teban garden..many happen in here..ponti lah, cryinglah, a man play swing at playground actually not man but something else.the face like joker..my eldest saw it, me saw ponti, crying very loud at 4 am, suspicious nenek at playground or garden so creepy. That's happen when I was kids till ..but now no more because so many foreign walker hang around..

Wow..when i younger at tym sometimes hanging around at my friend place but sayang cant remember what block. It been 30 years i 🤔..😂😂 but surely the surrounding of the place still map in my head. If only the area dont change the lay out too much may be the housing.. that why why i my head have this feeling it like area at bit not creepy but malay said syaduh😝😝or it might not near area to what the story teller told🤷🏽♀️ Alhamdulillah.. whenever i go there nothing bad happen as im allow going anywhere before too dark🥴🤗🥴

Which part of Teban? I frequent that area on weekends and i find it quite peaceful actually. Lots of foreign workers, very heartlandish feel. Nothing off at all. So where is haunted?

1st time hearing a marble story with toyol. Heard some stories before, some even from ustads and never heard it associated with toyol before. Could happen though
If your upper storey always has playing mable sounds at odd hours, especially midnight, high chance with some1 keeping toyol in that house. Toyol are keep for watch out the own house, properties etc including their flowers, fruits, chillies. Bad intentions owner will train it to be a thief to steal money or gold jewelry from neighbors.

Ive been living in Teban Gardens since 1976, the year i was born.. Nothing sort of creepy or eerie things happen or see.. The only scary is during in the 80s..peeping tom climb to 2nd floor parapet, peeping at window, theft, addicts... Ghost? No at all..

@SupernaturalConfessions back in 92 when I was in my teens. I was staying in the block right in front of the Reservoir near the junction of penjuru. Every night j could hear clear footsteps outside my room. starting from the main door walking outside the aisle of my room. When I look there is no one. Of course I was scared ...told my dad and went to sleep in his room. In the middle of the night we both heard the steps and went out to confront it. But there was no one. Check main door fully locked. Went back to sleep and while in his sleep I caught my dad strangling himself and mumbling something..Crazy right? .I'll never forget teban.
If a deceased person is drown facing down, his or her soul may appear blank and without any face features, not sure how true is this?

I've seen a boy in lift as I was walking pass with a bangs like hair and with no face when I was younger, went home and told my dad, he then asked his friend who stayed at that block and he said "what? Yesterday a boy just jumped from my block." This was in hougang where there were alot of suicide cases too and near the mental institute, not too sure why they don't have faces but I dont think its just from drowning face down. I've also had alot of fair share of encounters other than this, but ever since I got older I don't much care, even when I was in bkk at a older age and there was something on walking on my bed, I just ask if you wanna disturb me give me 4d number otherwise F off. 😂 humans are much more scarier than ghost.
Personally grew up in this ghetto ass place. Her stories brings back so much memories.
I remember one time there was this baby that had jaundice and the parent “treated “ the condition by putting the kid in the sun. And by in the sun i mean at the 12th floor window, on some wooden board on top of bamboo poles used to hang/dry clothes out of the window. The wind blew and the kid fell from the window.

@@shahirashajahan291 that Pandan reservoir also has some stories and sightings. Blk 25 has this tree by the side of the road then, some pakciks I remember crowding this tree because allegedly they found a doll on top.
The rail track, never got the chance to explore but heard so much stories about it too
Whether anything supernatural caused the baby to fall or not, that was just terrible parenting!!!!! Jaundice in babies is very common (I myself had it as a baby) and giving them sunlight is the usual cure, but babies won’t die from that very simple treatment if it’s done responsibly…..

I stay in pandan gardens and teban gardens for about 30 years many suicide and death at reservoir, point blocks. Was she refering to the playground near blk 13 by the old railroad? I forgot the blk number further up.

I'm 54yrs old now n I have stay in Teban since I was 8yrs old n I'm still staying here in 1 of the new block after emblock. Teban is a very small estate but to say that is haunted I don't agree. If u believe in spirit n ghosts then everywhere is also haunted not just Teban. Teban is a peaceful n quiet estate n there is not many news abt here so pls don't create something out of nothing....Anyway the primary sch(Pandan Pri Sch) she is talking abt has already demolished last mth after vacant for numbers of yrs. Both of my younger brothers studied there n none of them or their friends have ever spoken that the sch is haunted. Anyway just listen n don't get carry away by her story....Teban is still a very nice n peaceful place to stay.
Not everyone can sense or experience such things… this was juz a personal experience… this was sumtin I didn’t face it alone… the school isn’t Pandan primary… the primary school wasn’t in the area… I dun wish to share the name… but it is also been demolished… I’m glad Teban was peaceful for u… again this experiences I am sharing wasn’t me alone, my family and me as well as my frens… we all went thru it…
