Wow I love star trek and had the ken and Barbie set i never saw the Picard doll I love it Tell hubby congratulations on that buy. I started getting rid of my Barbie collection as American Girl is taking over my house and my life. 1964 Barbie is great. Wedding set is really fabulous. Looks like you both had fun at the doll show

I am nowhere near a big doll show like Sherri's, so I always like seeing what other people find. I think the wedding repro is my favourite, although your husband got a great deal on those Star Trek dolls. I love all those repros done in 2009. Unfortunately I wasn't collecting then, so I don't have any. I just have the most recent Superstar repro from a couple of years ago.
Thank you so much! We had to drive 6-7 hours to get to this one and stay a couple of nights in a hotel. It isn't easy, but it is a lot of fun! I missed many reproductions when I took a break from collecting.
I have the Caroling Fun Christy version. I stopped buying Barbies in the middle 90s through 2018. Lots was going on with my life during this time and I was collecting Takara Jenny dolls instead. Eventually I started buying some Barbies I missed out on and found them in huge lots that folks were just trying to get rid of. The 90s Barbies are fabulous and you got some really good deals. Sounds like you had a wonderful time. BTW, I love the reproductions. I think Mattel did a fantastic job for those. I have the 1965 Repro Astronaut but bought her loose and redressed. The reproduction Swirl is my favorite of your show purchases.

Thank you! It is hard collecting more than one doll line. I have thought many times how my life would be simpler if I stuck to one doll brand, but then I see another doll and fall in love. I get so much enjoyment from them, I decide I don't want to just stick to one.
