In every sidemen video, he is always crying, complaining and randomly/ consistently attacking jj for no reason but jj just laughs it of, he does this just to get the attention of the other boys and when somebody says a joke about him he gets so defensive, it is quite annoying to be honest

I think the teams they made was the closest they could have made them. It's not only that, but the teams complemented eachother. Simon was hyping up Vik and made him feel included in the team, which made him perform better (like Vik does when he's playing Warzone with his teammates). Harry was really supportive of Ethan, but Ethan unfortunally kept pushing himself down and finally JJ and Josh had pretty good synergy.
The editor of this video is so funny and good didn't even see a difference at the [art where Harry and Ethan apologized.

FYI at 13:02 the rule is it is okay if the ball hits the bat on the volley if the ball and bat at the point of contact are outside the bounds of the table. In this case it should have been Ethan and Harrys point because the point of contact for Ethan's volley was behind the line of the table.

The rule is that you cannot hit the ball before it bounces.
BUT, The important rule is who gets the point: If the ball is over the end of the table, the hitter gets the point, as the ball was fouled anyway.
If the ball is NOT over the table, the hitter concedes the point, as the ball was still in play.
Ethan should have gotten the point.
Fun Fact: Simon is the main organiser for this channel.

You’ve clearly never played any proper competition tournaments then. In any friendly league of course you’ll allow Cleary off points to be allowed but proper matches if it hits your bat on the full, penalty point

Having played competitive table tennis at almost olympic level i can confirm that if it is obvious that the ball is missing the table then "a volley" is irrelevant as the ball missed the table so its not a foul. However if you are in front of the line when hitting the ball then yes it is indeed a foul. And yeah the ball has to be thrown at least the width of the bat( roughly 6 inches) up in the air before you serve it. But its a sidemen video it aint that deep at the end of the day 🤷🏾♂️
