Damm this scene... the first time i saw this scene i laughed so hard seing bill's confused face when jake told about the mission...but at the same time it's really depressing what jake did to him...he's lost his mind. What scares me is he was been treated as a mentally ill person but in reality he wasn't. And he's last words he said to jake "if i was your friend, why did you do this to me?"....
And at the end of the show after James Franco set everything back the way it was they mentioned the fates of the other characters in the show but not bill we never know what became of him
I feel like the final episode when Jake returns to the future, we should've saw him looking up Bill to see what happened in the reset timeline. To see what was to become of him instead of dying here.
yeah. It was all about Sadie, like he didn't even care one bit about Bill. So does he become an alcoholic? does he get to have his family? I guess we have to decide...
@@adolpheemmanuelle434 From what I researched about the book, Jake found out that Bill had cancer or some sort of sickness that would eventually kill him. So when Jake went back to reset the timeline and try to save Sadie, he decided to leave a note for Bill to get a diagnosis/treatment earlier before it would be too late. Jake simply writes that the letter is from "a friend". I don't know if he does find out in the future if Bill is doing better. I started reading the book recently. But I'm only in like the second chapter or something. So it'll be awhile before I get to the end and see if there is more than what I researched.

Bill … people are too easy on him. Jake did everything for him. He let him in on the biggest thing to ever take place ever (a chance to actually alter history) all the money he could want… and the guy just kept being a child. He wasn’t a good friend.
I completely disagree, I feel like Jake was the one in the situation being a bad friend. Bill did quite literally everything Jake asked him to do for 2 years, lived in almost complete isolation because Jake told him to, did all of the surveillance work while Jake was off with Sadie half the time, was ignored, berated anytime he even slightly questioned Jake's theories, and was forced to listen to domestic violence all day after suffering a lifetime of abuse. Which, even AFTER he had a breakdown over it, Jake completely brushes it off, gives a non-apology, and still makes him listen to it. In fact he makes Bill listen to it EVEN MORE, because he starts leaving bill for days on end. Bill wasn't given all the money he could want, he was completely cut off from getting anything, Jake didnt let him get a job after they started the surveillance and he forbid bill from doing any bets to try and get money. All the money was Jake's, and Bill had to rely solely on him for everything. He wasn't ungrateful or childish his mental health was deteriorating from being a horrible situation that JAKE put him into. Bill did more for Jake than anyone, and more than Jake ever did for him.
@@bigbazoxngas That's exactly it. All he wanted was to have his relationship withe the russian girl. But he couldn't while Jake could run off to Sadie every time. He said it very clearly in the argument "the girlfriend you are allowed to have!". Jake was heartless to Billy. Even in the scene when he says I'm sorry but just to get some information from bill about his mission. Because he needs him. Plus, at the end when Jake resets time, he doesn't even bother to check what happens with Bill. What a friend !! I got mad not knowing what happened with Bill. Did he get a happy life? did he end up an alcoholic somewhere? Jake was a crapy crapy friend !!!!! About the job I didn't get it. In one episode Jake says it's Billy's turn to get one. And then nothing happened job-wise.

I've never seen this show so hearing George, a British man, talk with a southern drawl took me right out.
