bring back 10 olympic weight classes
Which ones ares missing
@@armanifryeowens5518 I dont remember the exact weights, but in '96 there was 10weights, 2000 there was 8, 2004 dropped to 7, and since 2016 we've only had 6
@@armanifryeowens5518
61kg, 70kg, and a few others I can’t remember but they used to be 10 weights and there are in worlds
@@Th3Chuzzl3r yes this is the way it’s always been and this is the way it always should be
On social media I've seen too many sports fans put their entertainment above the health of athletes. It's great seeing so many people being supportive of Vito, and talking about the need for more Olympic weights.
I'm just a fan, but I've come to love this sport so much. It makes me so angry that so many great wrestlers around the world aren't able to compete in the Olympics because there are only 6 weights.
@kodabear1996 you were right we need to start being athlete focused, especially since these are the people out there getting it done entertaining us
@@WrestlingMindset It's something I'm pretty passionate about. That's one reason I started praying for Mizzou athletes and coaches, and sending Prayer Tweets to those who are on Twitter (X). That led to me becoming a #TigerStyle fan, and now I probably have about 300 non-Mizzou current and former wrestlers on my weekly prayer list.
We need to get the weight divisions expanded this is creating a desperate weight cutting situation. Their bodies can’t heal up simultaneously
Vito a complete warrior. Wish him the best on next year's world championships.
Great interview thank you for it! Best wishes, Vito - smart longer term decision. The healed up version of Vito will be incredible. Very smart.
@garciavideoproductions thank you very much for watching. This was an enjoyable show to do despite the bad news.
We need 10 weight classes again! So ridiculous half the population doesn’t get a shot. Humans are not all built the same. Track and field would never remove 40% of their events.
Hope to see vito back on the matt soon. The wrestling injuries are always lingering, but he's a beast and will overcome
Vito is the most exciting to watch after the finals vs RBY, he'll bounce back the correct way, Joe Woodell
He'll be missed at the trials - hope he can make a full recovery for next time.
I don’t understand the Olympic committee’s rationale for going from 10 to 6 weight classes. Obviously, the people on the committee have never wrestled. It’s a damn shame.
Vito the future of 65kg is yours. Go get it!
they should add 61kg 125 to 143 is a big jump
not really ... 133 --> 143
@@learning.isnt.linear that’s only ten pounds. 25-43 is like 20 pounds. So for guys that are naturally in the middle, they have to make the cut or go up, where we miss out on a lot of talent
@@armanifryeowens5518 57kg is out for him if he wants longevity in the sport.
Exactly the same gap as 65kg to 74kg.?.
@@opaca512 yes
65kg
He's asking if you should've took an Olympic redshirt
Go up to 65.. bulk up lift weights.
I knew he was hurt
Olympic committee sucks
Excuses or results.
