I know this is qn old question, but if anyone's still curious, Visage did come forward and were given a share of the royalties. I don't think it got to the lawsuit stage. I think the band should have gotten all of them, given what happened to the Verve when they sampled the Stones. This is one of the most blatant rip-offs in pop music. Kelly even name-checked Visage when it came out, seemingly oblivious to the ramifications of her theft.
She was way ahead of her time in terms of the follow up album. Had it been released 5 years later it would have been a banger on the radio and charts. I personally felt her first album was cringey and if it’s time.

Don't forget that the writers of 'One Word' agreed that it was based on Fade To Grey & paid an out of court settlement to Visage. You may wish to defend Kelly, but the facts always come to light.

But I get it this overwhelming amount of pressure to be perfect and I was born with a bad leg deformity so it caused other problems and one leg is shorter so I stand weird as well it drives me crazy and I'm in pain everyday and the older I get the worse I get.
Christina used to make fun of her and now look at her, she’s not super fat but she lost her 2000’s look and her career has been in the toilet since 2010.
