He has a bright future. I just want him, and EVERY DEFENDER on CU to start playing fundamentally for 4Qtrs. What I mean for instance, is taking the tackle first! Not the the ball swat or strip! Secure the tackle. Receivers are considered defenseless for a reason. Thus, just make the darn sure tackle. Big plays will come to you when you’re fundamentally sound! They left two picks on the field due to poor focus and lack of fundamentals!
Camron Silmon-Craig is the most consistent player (with Travis) on the team. He doesn't get nearly the shine he deserves. Camron will be playing on Sundays. Like Coach Prime said, maybe he'll start on Special Teams in the NFL first but he will work himself into a lineup over time. As for opportunities, the offense struggles and is only working because of the individual effort and performance of players - not because of the scheme or planning. Shurmur isn't the guy - Coach Prime is going to have to do something so the play calling changes next year. Where I cringe a bit is that Shurmer is calling the offense the rest of the season.
FYI. Pretty sure I remember Silmon-Craig making sure Travis moves to the left side before that last play snap making it possible to make the play. Feel it’s worth mentioning.

The Baylor coach, Dave Aranda got his first big break as a defensive coordinator for the University of Hawaii. The team wasn't that great but the defense was solid. His last year at UH was 2011 when Hawaii hosted Colorado, this was Colorado's first season in the Pac 12. The Buffs were heavily favored but ended up getting beat by UH 34-17. Credit for that win goes to Coach Aranda who''s undersized and less talented defense was able to shut down CU.

It was a great ending to the game. But let's face it, grading the performances: Offense: C+, Defense: A-, Special teams: F-. Enjoy the victory as it was special, but we are an average team. So far, the D is better than expected and the O is not as good as expected. Special teams, a disaster.
Watched every YT prac vid & games since prime arrived & always seen Omarion Millers talent & told everyone just wait then USC happened & couldn’t believe he wasn’t starting this year. I would start Omarion over everyone but, Travis until I was proven wrong . He also squeezed everything out of the strength & conditioning this off-season to be strong wit a 6’2 frame & fast enough to take it. Main reason is his reliable Hands. Although Sheppard talented wit questionable speed & Wester routes ppl up wit questionable hands @ times body catchin & Horn did everything to sure up his hands this off-season but, he has legit 4.3 speed & showed in these 4 games besides 1 wide open drop.

Then letting the QB on that run power play get going straight up the middle untouched; except for the missed arm tackle from Simon-Craig. That’s 17 points! It also looks like they made some changes on the O-Line after half time…they moved Benson over to Right Tackle and Mayers to Right Guard and benched Houston….did that contribute to the OLine taking a step back? I know Houston had a costly holding penalty early on that cost us a touchdown; was that the reason he was benched? Happy we won but if we play this bad next week UCF will run us out the stadium!

Great win but there was some concerning issues that need to be fixed…..Preston Hodge had a horrible game. He got beat consistently and luckily the Baylor QB kept missing. The Hankins/Benson C RG combo has been a disaster. I’m starting to believe Benson is the weak link. He looked lost out there. Either keep him at RT or give Tyler Johnson a shot at RT and Mayers at RG. Hankins just flat out has to play better. Every time they ran the stunt the DE came free every single time up the middle!! WE HAVE TO PROTECT 2!!!!!!!!
If the offensive line (aka the most important position group on the field) was better. That’s a big IF! They will continue to improve but that group has to be better to do real things other than go bowling

Im sorry but I have to say this about Lajohntay Wester I have watched him over a couple games and see he needs to catch the ball more yes he can make plays but he has a problem going over the middle or sideline passes where he takes his eyes off the ball or he just misses the catch, needs to work on catching the ball more

What game you watched? Baylor attacked #8…. #7 tackles primarily came around the line of scrimmage
Where is the kick off kicker who kicks it 67 yards?, O Miller on the bench who makes a big play every time he touches the ball, Shedeur does not read fast enough & does not throw the ball away & takes sacks that subtract from the rushing total, The refs cheat like holding on on the receivers / moving the ball back behind the first down taking time off the clock - on purpose to take time away from CU. These coaches make dumb calls like not fair catching punts costing hundreds of yards and points in the first 4 games.
