Hey I noticed you haven’t posted any new videos of your cvo. I have been looking at a 2011 cvo just wondered if you had any trouble out of your motor. I hear a lot of Harley guys bashing that 110 because of lifter and cam problems because of valve springs. Just wondering about how many miles yours had or any issues you’ve had if any ?
Life threw me a curve so I haven't had much time for making videos lately, and its cold and winter. I don't ride once the wind chill hits the negative numbers. My CVO currently sits around 60k miles, it runs great (don't use shitty gas), top end is a little noisy. Lifters and cams are relatively cheap but the factory cams in this bike work just fine (SE 255) and it gets about 47MPG. Lots of TQ to get it up and moving and more so with the new rear shocks, I was cruising through country curves at 80. Use quality oil and filters at regular oil changes. I can do all my own work but until I have issues the engine will stay as factory (set up at least) as I bought it for touring so I want good TQ and MPG. I will be swapping out the header pipe or removing the cat. It's not overly loud currently with it in but breathes far better than factory with the baffles removed. If you watch the original rides riding cross country I have addressed all issues I had. I'll make a video tomorrow (going hunting today) and go over the bike entirely if it will help you out.
Man that’s awesome hope your back riding soon to. I had a little set back in May, heart attack and surgery but doing good so far. I’m ready for some warmer weather where I can get back out to. Enjoyed your videos stay safe.
