Most Sunnis are ignorant about Islam. They do not know who, when and why somebody named them Sunni Muslims instead of Muslims. It is easy to manipulate an ignorant. Daesh is manipulating ignorant Sunni to join them. Syrian and Iraqi Sunni invited them as their Sunni brothers to help them. They named themselves ISIS (Daesh) in Syria. Now Daesh is beheading the Sunnis too. I came across the following information about the origin of Sunni name. I asked 100's of Sunni scholars but nobody knew the origin of Sunni name then I researched myself from Sunni books and found the following reason. 1- Umer bin Khatab appointed a small council from his death bed to appoint his successor with the condition that his successor has to follow the Sunnah of his predecessors (AbuBaker and Umer) and if the nominee does not accept this condition his head should be cut off. The council offered Khilafat to Ali with this condition but Ali (as) said . ““I shall act according to the Book of God, and the Sunnah of His Apostle. As for following the precedents of Abu Bakr and Umar, I have a judgment of my own, and I am going to use it.” The council did not cut his head. Uthman accepted that condition and became Khalifa. After the death of Uthman, Ali became Khalifa and Muaweeya became against him. Muaweeya needed something against Ali so he told his followers that Ali rejects the Sunnah of AbuBaker and Umer but Muaweeya accepts the Sunnah of AbuBaker and Umer. Muaweeya called his followers AHLE-SUNNAH. There were no newspapers, TV, Radio, good transportation at that time. Ruler’s orders were the only news. If anybody was against the ruler, they used to cut his head off. Many people joined Muaweeya and were known as Ahle-Sunnah. Muaweeya fought with Ali and made a fraudulent pact with Ali . Muaweeya realized that he could not fool Muslims forever so he declared that he had treaty with Ali . NOW WE ARE UNITED AS ONE UMMAH. He added WA JAMAIT to show unity among all Muslims. Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait became the religion of rulers. It fitted well for them. Every ruler after Muweeya protected this Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait because it accepted them Khalifa. THIS IS ALL IN SUNNI BOOKS. Ottoman empire started as SULTAN not Khalifa but then they realized the political benefits of Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait. They became Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait and declared themselves KHALIFA. This is the origin of Ahle-sunnah wal Jamait (SUNNI).

Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani has some more words: For a mutawatir hadith, the reliability or justice of the narrators is irrelevant. Its authenticity only depends on the multiplicity of narrators, to a number that clearly removes the possibililty of any collusion to lie. What's wrong in worshiping the Shivalingam for it is the origin of everything, the existence. No.2 - Agar aap usko nahi pooj sakte jo aapko practically jeevan jeeney me samarth kartey hain (Rivers, Sun, Trees, animals etc.) to usko pooj ke kya karoge jo hai ya nahi koi nahi jaanta, sirf VISHWAAS hai. No.3 - Murtiyan sirf ek patthar nahi hai, balki kaee saari shaktiyon ki roop maatr hain jinme hum un shaktoyon ki anubhuti kartey hain aur poojan ko sampann karte huye unke (murtiyan) through divine shakti se connect karte hain. You got it all wrong brother Imran. There are different types of Shia, and not all of them curse the companions or wives of the prophet. The main difference between sunni and shia is the caliphate, the successor to the prophet. It started with with political differences. This is what you should have explained here.

Therefore any enemy of them is the enemy of Prophet. Is there any Hadith for Sahaba? Quran says, Ali, Fatema, Hasan and Husain are pure and pious so anyone against them is against quran. Is there any quranic Ayat about purity of any Sahabi? (33:33 incident of cloak, hadith reported by Ayesha as well and she was not under cloak) All muslims are required to say blessings on Mohammad( SWAWAS) and his Progeny and salat will not be accepted if Salwat or blessing on them is not said. Is there any such requirement for Sahab and wives of prophet? Quran gives an example of wife of Prophet Nuh (AS) and Prophet Lut( AS) and also wife of Firaun (Aaseya binte mazahim) therefore there is no guarantee the wife of prophet can't make a mistake. Sahih Bukhari babe Ghusl says Ayesha showed some people how to take ritual bath. We don't expect that for our wife and never think about Prophet's wife to do so. Ayesha also famously said-- Uqtulu Naathal innahe ukfir regarding 3 khalifa, that he has become a kafir and kill him. Imran says that there are no shia at the time of prophet. I tell you what prophet muhammad (pbuh ) use to say about shia. Allama ibn Hajr-e-Makki (sunni Scholar) in his book 'SAWAEQ E MUHEREQA Urdu translation, on page number 519. Narrated by ALI ( A.S ), That prophet said:- "O Ali (a.s), when you will face your Lord, your shia will be the favourite one and Allah is satisfied with them. another Hadith on page number 542. 1* prophet said:- "O Ali , Allah forgives you , your family , your children , your shia". 2* prophet said :-"shia will appear with glowing face at HAUZ E KUTHAR". sahih Bhukhari. kitaab e tafseer. vol 6 ; pg no 193, subsection no 3. urdu translation by Allama wahid uz zama. It reads "Ya Allah raise us as shia of Ali on the of judgement".

I came across the following information about the origin of Sunni name. I asked 100's of Sunni scholars but nobody knew the origin of Sunni name then I researched myself from Sunni books and found the following reason.
1- Umer bin Khatab appointed a small council from his death bed to appoint his successor with the condition that his successor has to follow the Sunnah of his predecessors (AbuBaker and Umer) and if the nominee does not accept this condition his head should be cut off. The council offered Khilafat to Ali with this condition but Ali (as) said .
““I shall act according to the Book of God, and the Sunnah of His Apostle. As for following the precedents of Abu Bakr and Umar, I have a judgment of my own, and I am going to use it.”
The council did not cut his head. Uthman accepted that condition and became Khalifa.
After the death of Uthman, Ali became Khalifa and Muaweeya became against him.
Muaweeya needed something against Ali so he told his followers that Ali rejects the Sunnah of AbuBaker and Umer but Muaweeya accepts the Sunnah of AbuBaker and Umer. Muaweeya called his followers AHLE-SUNNAH. There were no newspapers, TV, Radio, good transportation at that time. Ruler’s orders were the only news. If anybody was against the ruler, they used to cut his head off. Many people joined Muaweeya and were known as Ahle-Sunnah. Muaweeya fought with Ali and made a fraudulent pact with Ali . Muaweeya realized that he could not fool Muslims forever so he declared that he had treaty with Ali . NOW WE ARE UNITED AS ONE UMMAH. He added WA JAMAIT to show unity among all Muslims. Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait became the religion of rulers. It fitted well for them. Every ruler after Muweeya protected this Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait because it accepted them Khalifa.
THIS IS ALL IN SUNNI BOOKS.
Ottoman empire started as SULTAN not Khalifa but then they realized the political benefits of Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait. They became Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait and declared themselves KHALIFA.
This is the origin of Ahle-sunnah wal Jamait (SUNNI).

Those who ran away in Ohad in that Sunni 3 khalifa ( Abu Bakr, Umar and Usman) is also included. Who left rasool s.a.w. alone in battle and ran away they are not muslims and please let me know after Ohad when this 3 accepted Islam again ? Aysha came to Battle of Jamal against Hz Ali a.s. now let me know what is the boundary of a woman those are wives of Rasool s.a.w. coming to battle field is she can be appreciated that too she came against Hz Ali a.s. for whom Rasool s,a,w said Haq Ali aur Ali Haq ke Saath hai. Then Aysha was not on Haq. This is the reason we Shia never send Tabbarra on Sahaba or Wives of Rasool s,a.w. we just sent Laanat on Munafiqeen and non followers of Rasool s.a.w.

Many Sunnis are confused by the hadith, since they are not from the Shi'a of Imam Ali (as). So, many of them have declared the hadith weak. However, it is either ignorance or dishonesty. This is because the hadith is not just sahih, it is mutawatir! Inshallah, I will set out now to prove that.
First, what is a mutawatir hadith? Well, any hadith narrated through a minimum of 9 or 10 Companions is accepted as mutawatir, and thus absolutely authentic. Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani has some more words:
For a mutawatir hadith, the reliability or justice of the narrators is irrelevant. Its authenticity only depends on the multiplicity of narrators, to a number that clearly removes the possibililty of any collusion to lie.

Imam al-Haskani in his Shawahid Tanzil, Vol. 2, p. 461, has recorded the hadith through a chain from Ibn Abbas. Al-Khawarizmi too in his al-Manaqib, p. 323, has recorded it from another chain from Sa'eed ibn Jubayr from Ibn Abbas.
Al-Khawarizmi again has recorded it through another chain from Anas ibn Malik in his Manaqib, p. 319. Ibn Maghazili al-Shafi'i, in his Manaqib Amir al-Mumineen, pp. 157-158, cites a chain leading up to Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansar. Al-Khawarizmi again has narrated it through a chain from Imam Husayn (as) in his al-Manaqib, p. 317. Imam al-Hakim in his al-Mustadrak, Vol. 3, pp. 174-175 has narrated from Mayna ibn Abi Mayna through a chain. Ibn Asakir in his Tarikh, Vol. 42, p. 333 has narrated it, through a chain, from Umm Salamah. Al-Haythami too, in his Majma al-Zawaid, Vol. 10, p. 21 (Egypt) has narrated it through another chain from her. Al-Hafiz Jamaluddin al-Zarnadi, in his Nasm Duroor al-Simtayn, p. 24, has narrated it, through a chain, from Ibrahim ibn Shaybah al-Ansari.
Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi, in his Muwazzih Awham al-Jami' wa al-Tafriq, Vol. 1, p. 43, records it, through a chain, from Bibi Fatimah al-Zahra (as). A huge number of Sunni scholars have narrated it through several chains from Imam Ali (as). Among them are Ibn Asakir in his Tarikh, Vol. 42, p. 332, al-Dawlabi in his al-Dhurriyat al-Tahirat, p. 121, al-Khatib al-Baghdadi in his Tarikh, Vol. 12, p. 284 and others.
The hadith has been narrated from ELEVEN Companions. It is therefore absolutely authentic and must be accepted as proof, being a mutawatir tradition.
Imam Ibn Hajar records in his 'Nuzhat al-Nadhar' page 10:
"Verily one must work with the mutawatir hadith without checking its narrators"
Sunni scholar and a teacher of university of Makka Allamah Ahmad bin Umar bin Salim records in Al-Muqtareb fi Bayan al-Mutareb, page 10:
"The tawattur do not require checking of narrators, verily one must work with it without checking because it is acceptable"
Present day Salafi scholar and one of the students of Shaykh Bin Baz namely Abdulkarim al-Khudhair (born in 1374 H) records in Tahqiq al-Raghba fi Tawdih al-Nukhba, page 44:

We read the aspect of a mutawatir tradition in Tadrib al-Rawi by Imam Jalaluddin Suyuti, Volume 2 page 173:

Let me answer you the way you have not learned, which is respectfully and in a way through which knowledge sharing happens, without judging:
No.1 - Shiva and shakti is the depiction of origin of Prakriti (World) which starts by a male and a female mating. What's wrong in worshiping the Shivalingam for it is the origin of everything, the existence.
No.2 - Agar aap usko nahi pooj sakte jo aapko practically jeevan jeeney me samarth kartey hain (Rivers, Sun, Trees, animals etc.) to usko pooj ke kya karoge jo hai ya nahi koi nahi jaanta, sirf VISHWAAS hai.
No.3 - Murtiyan sirf ek patthar nahi hai, balki kaee saari shaktiyon ki roop maatr hain jinme hum un shaktoyon ki anubhuti kartey hain aur poojan ko sampann karte huye unke (murtiyan) through divine shakti se connect karte hain. VISHWAAS ki tarah yahan bhi bhaav mehetvapoorn hai.
No.4 - Jo Jeevan ki uttpatti karta hai woh divine hai, isliye hindu dharma me SEX divine hai. Sex agar pleasure ke liye kiya jaaye, bina kissi ko dukh pohchaye, to yeh koi sochne ka vishey hai hee nahi. (On Khajurao Mandir). Kamasutra ke through poorey vishva ne sex me divinity ki anubhooti kee hai with respect and not just considering a women as slave or bacche paida karne ki machine.

The main difference between sunni and shia is the caliphate, the successor to the prophet. It started with with political differences. This is what you should have explained here.

Quran says, Ali, Fatema, Hasan and Husain are pure and pious so anyone against them is against quran. Is there any quranic Ayat about purity of any Sahabi?

All muslims are required to say blessings on Mohammad( SWAWAS) and his Progeny and salat will not be accepted if Salwat or blessing on them is not said. Is there any such requirement for Sahab and wives of prophet?
Quran gives an example of wife of Prophet Nuh (AS) and Prophet Lut( AS) and also wife of Firaun (Aaseya binte mazahim) therefore there is no guarantee the wife of prophet can't make a mistake. Sahih Bukhari babe Ghusl says Ayesha showed some people how to take ritual bath. We don't expect that for our wife and never think about Prophet's wife to do so. In addition she fought a battle against Hazrat Ali and according to hadith I mentioned above enemy of Ali is Prophet's enemy.
Ayesha also famously said-- Uqtulu Naathal innahe ukfir regarding 3 khalifa, that he has become a kafir and kill him. If she is siddiqa then we have to accept her words!!
2nd Khalifa whipped Abu Huraira when he came back from Bahrain with 200k diharm. Khalifa said to Abu Huraira "You are an enemy of Allah and enemy of Islam". I am surprised that most haidth's are taken from same Abu Huraira. Can someone explain?
After 1400 years, it is not yet established what is the method of electing a Khalifa. Few years ago AbuBakar Baghdadi Lanat ullah became Khalifa, why our sunni brothers did not accept him? He had more votes than First Khalifa so he had ijma(votes), qahr o ghaliba( force), ahel hill o aqd ( consent from prominent people, which he claimed he had)
Can any of our sunni brother tell my why they did not accept him as Khalifa worldwide? What was wrong with ABU BAKAR BAGHDADI?
If using bad words against the khalifa and wife of prophet is wrong then why Muavia( LA) was cursing Ali(R) from pulpit? Was he doing ijtehad? why he asked others to do the same? Has our sunni brothers banished him from religion for this act?
Why our sunni brothers take hadiths from killers of Imam Husain. For example, sunni books have hadith from Umar Ibne Sad Ibne Abiwaqas. Do they think killer of Imam Husain is authentic when it comes to religion?
I am sure some of our sunni brothers will curse me, bash me and use filthy language. I don't use that language against anyone. Any Shia or Sunni who use filthy language for any one be it prominent figures of Islam is wrong and will be accountable one day.
I am sure some so called learned sunni brother will not reply my question, rather ask me something else. Don't waste your time defending something you can't. Stay on questions and reply to the point with references.

Islam is one Religion where different sects live in peace and harmony. Shia, Sunni, Ahamadias-all different sects of Islam-live in brotherly friendship, helping each other. Good examples could be found in Pakistan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq. Muslims have set the high bench mark for peace & harmony, that others Religions could follow.

What is the verdict? If someone goes to war with the Khalifa of their time?
Did Aisha (ra, wife of our prophet) did she go to war with any of the Khalifa of her time?
If yes, please name those wars.... and what is the religious verdict on that?

why fight sunni- shia .First we should know that we are all muslims. Who was prophet Mohammad. He was not sunni nor shia. he was a muslim. Who was Ibrahim. as per quran Chapter no.3 verses 67 (Abraham was neither Jewish, nor Christian; he was a monotheist submitter. He never was an idol worshiper.).
so why should we fight each other. Try to be a good muslim first. follow the quran which was revealed to prophet Mohammad, who was our last prophet.
and last but not least Allah says in quran chapter no.3 verses 103 ([3:103] You shall hold fast to the rope of GOD, all of you, and do not be divided. Recall GOD's blessings upon you - you used to be enemies and He reconciled your hearts. By His grace, you became brethren. You were at the brink of a pit of fire, and He saved you therefrom. GOD thus explains His revelations for you, that you may be guided.).
So we should hold Allah's rope that is quran to get furqan.

Sunni and Shia differences are artificial and hypothetical. Islam means peace. That means there is no sectarian infighting, between Shia, Sunni and Ahmadia. In places like Afganistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Saudi Arabia - the Sunni, Shia, Ahmadi live live in peace, embracing each other in brotherly love. Among other religious groups, like Jains, Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, Jews - there has always been sectarian infighting leading to blood shed. They should follow the example of Muslims, and learn to live in peace.
