Good to see it all working in poor weather, another good lesson. Nice one !
aye it worked well Peetee, I didn't want to run the burner whilst sleeping, to risky..
Cracking video fella liked that burner handy bit of kit …I’d be tempted to bank that up over night in that temperature, scram looked tasty too
Yes pal I've used it on the bank..
Great set up as usual another GREAT video. I'm always looking for new things to try the dry tube is a great idea
Give a try,I was honestly boiling in there despite the outside freezing temps .
Hey Tank first-time viewer I subscribed really nice set-up ND a beautiful camp spot!
AHH thank you very very much. Lots of videos in the playlists. Lots of ideas that have been tried and tested.
Enjoy the channel and welcome 🙏
@@outsidertank God bless you brother across the pond
Great video Tank, the whole set up looks amazing! Keep up the great work dude 💪🏼
You got it buddy, lots of awesome stuff to come 👊
Awesome video mucker fair play they just keep getting better and better m8 my 9 year old daughter is a big fan now too!!! 😊
Ahh thats fab big man 🥰
😮😊that setup is the Cat’s Ass! Very nice. The meal looked real good. Thanks for sharing 😊
It is buddy. It was very comfortable in there despite the freezing conditions.
Yes the meal was 👌
3:55 Cor, that looks comfy.
5:56 Cor, that's clever.
10:46 Cor, that looks toasty.
13:49 Cor, that looks tastey.
Great episode, Mr Tank.
(I tried it without the Mr - it didn't look right.)
😅 what the stir fry haha 💪💪
Brilliant vid bud great set up lee
Skills and drills buddy 😉
@@outsidertank definitely 100%
Awesome vid tank 👍 are you planning on visiting the dugout shelter see how it’s held up now it’s winter
Yes I defo want to get back to see Leigh..
Yes buddy defo want to ...
Cracking vid!! I’m about to build a stove from a .50cal ammo box, can’t afford the crazy prices they charge!! 😅
Yes their very expensive Stuart. Mines a budget option but along with that comes the weight.
I hope your project works out well for you pal. I know it will..
I’ll pop on instagram when it’s done and tag you, time to get bizzy wizzy with the angle grinder! I’ve got my blueprints ready to make it, need to source the chimney, either one of them roll up metal ones or I’ve found some on eBay for about £8 per section, I’ll keep ya posted! 🙏
@@stuartmartin6045 the sections are less hassle dude, get yourself an elbow as well..
Yeah I just saw them! Great idea….. ideally I want the chimney pieces to fit inside the ammo box, the ones I’ve seen are about 5mm shorter than the box so should work 😊
@stuartmartin6045 ohh that will work defo 👌
Great video as usual Lee, how did you find fitting the under blanket? I know it’s easy to clip on I had to adjust mine a few times to get it sitting right once I was in the hammock to ensure I had a decent air pocket under my arse !
I must of been lucky there as after clipping it on it sat perfectly. I was very impressed with it..
Think you need a bigger wok. Looks bluddie tasty though. Glad you survived the night it was cold enough to freeze Alan's balls off
Pmsl. Lmfao 🤣🤣
Food fit for a king brother! absolutely spot on! Love the tarp and hammock set up, I can’t cope with a hammock anymore, breaks my back. Have you noticed the stealth camping has dropped off in the uk now coz it’s freezing 🤣🤣, me included. I have a few planned though but it takes some getting motivated doesn’t it. This was another fabulous video to watch brother, I can’t imagine carrying half of that gear! man mountain you are! Even your phone is camo 🤣🤣🤣
It's the same with carp fishing Steve, I'm most active this time of year.
It's very hard to get motivated in these temps but there's ways to kinda enjoy it like in this video. But it was a huge effort this morning squaring things away with frozen feet and hands.
What I most dislike about these winter camps is the longggg hrs of darkness. Breaks me Steve.
@@outsidertank Totally agree mate,,,,, daylight is so nice when you wake up
Great video mate , so glad you have used that underquilt , I also brought the same one last year and am yet to use it , I did find it doesn't compress that well and when I tried to squash it more I burst the compression sack 🤣 great vid tho , thanks 🙏
Aww, now I didn't compress it to much, didn't find the need on this occasion. I'll look out for that thanks pal. Good to know.
Pillow? PILLOW?? Stuff a shitbin with dry leaves, warm by the fire and that's your pillow :-D
Alternatively one rocket over each foot as booties 🤘
That Furtiv pattern is really nice damn...
I ain't roughing it to much these days haha.
Yes I love this furtiv pattern. Blends in well from Autumn on.
Remember the song?
Pack up a badger in your old kit bag
and smile, smile, smile.
He'll keep your ears warm when the
nights are cold,
grunting all the while. ...
First day of winter is the 21st december
Ye whatever...Google it.
Qaulity watch tank. blimey at one point thought you were getting the 🎸 next to the fire 😂 chicken & noodles looked the dogs all these snowflakes putting they're gear away till march missing out its not hard onto the next adventure look forward to the next vid 🔥🥾⛺🌳
I'm most active in winter, I just love the lack of idiots Dar..
@@outsidertank same ere less tossers on the bank 👍
Nice video with useful intel on kit and procedures. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge. Stay well, stay safe, Helen with Katarin and Terri with Robyn.
AHH that nice thanks guys, always look forward to your comments 🙏
Is the old bouncing bomb' arctic bag too narrow for you bud? Bit of a lump but warm in winter.
Adam 👍
Yes I've bought two, and have had to sell them on. My partner has kindly purchased me a civilian arctic bag that measured 80cm across the shoulders for Christmas.
I'm hoping I get it as an early present. I'm Gona need it for what I have planned 😉
Sounds interesting, look forward to the vids! 👍
@@mycowilderness3489 thanks buddy stay tuned..
Class as usual Lee 🫶
Topman Paul mate, thank you..
Good video mate 👍 I love getting the stove out with a hot tent or tarp it’s fun, keep up the great work big man. Atb Wullie 🏴✊🏻🏴
Nice one wullie, first time for me..thanks pal..
Bloody hell Tank, thats a fricking great idea. Been spent this week messing with tarps myself, never thought I could use a tarp to enclose a hammock. Ive got the solognac tarp and hammock. So its another idea i'm nicking off you..............😆😆😆 Cheers
AHH wkd. Safe as houses mate safe as houses 👌
Great video . I've done something similar. I used an adjustable elbow on the stove at about 45 degrees. I supported the chimney with a bipod. Works great. I ended up getting the lonewolf 902 hammock hot tarp from pomoly. Great video bro cheers from Cape breton Canada
I'm going to check the lone wolf out now seen as Christmas is coming up. Thank you brother 👌
Splendid Transmission Lee Old chap! Going to try that shelter.♨️ Thanks awfully
Yes stop try it buddy, I think if you fit say a survival blanket behind it say pegged to the taro with regular pegs, I think that would improve the heat inside even more. I only thought of this after the set up..
@@outsidertank cheers Old Chap! Great addition. That would reflect the heat and make toasty I bet!
you mad bastard 😂 i was cold just watching it 🤣 food lush my favourite thing chicken stirfry and so easy to make looked a cosy set up tho fair play maybe ill try it in the summer 😊
Haha your mad, very cosy set up buddy.. I have used the burner on the bank.
Absolutely great stuff looked very warm
Very! Thanks Paul..
Tidy little stove setup. You don’t suffer with poor nosh when you’re out, do you! 😉🤙🍛🍲
Lol I do my best brother lol..
Great video tank. Rather you than me 😏. Keep them going, look forward to the next one 😅.
Nice one Mikey, it wasn't so bad with the burner going.
Yes I've got a few exiting cold weather videos penciled in brother 💪
Good instructions on the enclosed tarp. A flatpack titanium stove with roll up chimney would shed many kilograms of the pack weight. Wrap the chimney with heat shield insulation secured with 2 metal adjustable ring clips (80mm) to allow pipe 60mm + heat shield cloth wrapped couple times around the pipe, at the point where top tarp metts. G🏴🇬🇧🏴
Sadly I don't have any of that. I gota use what I have..
I noticed you were completely out of breath carrying that solid wood stove probs 13kg ? Then the bergan weight , lots of stress on the heart bro.
It will give others not so strong as yourself food for thought on how to have that system without the excessive weight.
Enjoyed your kit & how it's squared away in your bergan, that's 2 👍 up so far , il view more ATB.... Hope ya don't get called up to the war with Russia being ex military.... Meet grinder or run for the hills?
love that night vison or look
It's green filter Mike 👌
Wow that looks amazing😊😊
Thank you 😋
Fairplay to you, fighting the elements
I honest don't mind it buddy. Thanks pal 🙏
Cracking fire that is buddy
Your welcome to borough it anytime bro...
Inspirational tank great video
AHH cheers, that's music to my ears. Always afraid of unsatisfied viewers.
Nice video thanks for making. I like to watch people in the woods. As I live in the woods. Not hear to learn hear to relax.
can not beat a bit of relaxation wildman, what part of the world are you from ? is it a shack you have ?
@@outsidertank I'm from Kent. I lived under a DD tarp for a year. Cleaning the place up. then a yurt for 7 year's but it rotted away the canvas was old when I found it.iv just finished a Warburton lorry back which I've lived in since June. Luxury to me. Be lucky
@@saswildman aww man that's awesome.. that's a dream.i can't get enough of the outdoors but my job just gets right in the way. Respect to you that's just fabulous.
