You guys have a really unique mix of handheld and gimbal shots which I don’t see very often. How do you decide when to put the gimbal down? So inspiring! ✌️
Hi Jason - sorry for the late reply. Usually we shoot in a team of two and one of us never uses the gimbal. The other switches between two cameras - one on the gimbal and the other is handheld. There are a few key moments when we know we'll use the gimbal, but other than that we just go with what we feel the moment needs. We try to balance it like we do with everything else. A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Variety is key.
