At the end of the day publishers are trying to make constant revenue flow each year with a yearly released game. 2k makes bank with their basketball game when it comes to a card mode like this and Madden does the same. Two games that people call bad and complain about every year but yet they still print money from it. That's all they care about regardless if you like the games or not at this point.
At the end of the day it's a business. A business has one primary responsibility make money. And obviously people are paying for this otherwise they wouldn't do it. You can say it's not right You can disagree with it all you would like to. However if the majority of gamers are spending money on virtual currency etc from my faction that would mean it is deemed successful and worth continuing to do because while some will complain others will spend the money. That's just the reality of business 101

I don't know why anyone pays when you can get them in the community creation! It's not like 2K are giving us different music or trons!! It's crazy what people spend on My Faction! Yes it's fun but I see people spending tons on packs trying to get certain cards for this mode and get tons of cards that are useless. Why pay for things that are available already in the game. I get Persona cards even though you can get them for free in cc but that's only if you want something different from 2K even though creators do a better job Most of the time.

The DLC Global Stars Pack that’s coming out in September is definitely the one I personally have been waiting for the most. Also I do hope we could possibly get a DLC CM Punk pack in the future which the 3 versions of Punk that will most likely be MyFaction only

My faction is not going anywhere. Modes like this exist in Madden, Fifa and a bunch of other sports games now, so it was inevitable that it would hit WWE2K eventually. It's a moneg grabbing mode for the suckers that will spend their last dime buying EVERY pack they can in an attempt to get EVERY new card. The people who play and pay in moderation are fine, but there are enough people who will throw cash at anything they drop to keep the mode going. This mode will only continue to get more and more attention as it makes them money, with the attention on everything else becoming lesser.
I’m curious to see if the characters in the WCW pack mainly Luger, Perfect and DDP are coming in WCW attire or their WWE attires. The ECW pack has the Sandman and Dudley’s in WWE attire. While I don’t mind DDP being WCW I prefer made in the USA Luger and Mr Perfect over WCW Luger and Curt Henning. I hope they add the fire extinguisher as a weapon. I miss that weapon from 2k19.
Joe Mashups already posted the attires a month or so ago , Luger has his 99-2000 attire with the Main event Gym logos, Perfect is his Black/Blue Singlet and Great Muta is his Halloween Havoc 1989 Look with the entrance gear and all.

Im sure you and many others now this but You can download different cm punk models from whats the status and they are automatically assigned as alt attires. As of my faction I don’t even know how to use it or navigate through it, it’s confusing to me so I don’t bother with it, but I want and need that Steiner model. I also never got the point of elite figure model being in the game, its dumb.
My issue with persona cards or having the Punk attire DLC like Bunny had is that I don't personally enjoy having separate versions of a character just to have an attire. I'd get it if movesets are different from the time. But I wish they tried implementing a system where we had different entrances and stuff for different attires rather than here's Rey Mysterio from 2006 who plays exactly like the main one just wasting a slot because he has a different entrance. I think Cody Rhodes in WWE 12 had different entrances depending on the attire, but that's about it. Its like unlockable legend versions of Undertaker and Kane in the SD VS RAW games just worse because it's several wrestlers having several versions for not much reason. Maybe it's just because I'm a casual player that just skims through Universe mode and don't want to set multiple different shows just because I enjoy all 3 versions of Kane and don't want to have 200+ Raw roster with 3 separate Kane matches because I want to play as one version or the other. I miss alt attires. I feel like if they aren't CAW's, no one has an alt attire because they're all separated. At least make a link or something if this has to be done this way, so if I select the Undertaker, there's a mini section to select the version rather than making each version have a place on the roster.
My free version of Big Poppa Pump from community creations is just fine, dont need to waste time and money grinding for a marginal upgrade over that version; you are why 2k continues to price gouge their consumers
I think next month IS September 20th! But WWE 2K24 DLC Pack 4 is coming before this fall! And TBH, when Michelle McCool returns, WWE 2K24 decide to put Michelle change from "Flawless" to go back in "All-American Lady".
I do not have an interest in playing this game anymore. Bought the deluxe edition so I could get the early access, then sometime between the Post Malone dlc and the big Microsoft crash, my game data got wiped. ALL of my caws, titles showcase and saved settings are just gone. My enthusiasm for the game is gone as I have lost days of my life just to have all that work gone without any way of getting it back. 2k needs to lose the license if they can't be bothered to make a game that isn't as broken as this.
4:49 or Matt it could be the next WWE2K25 game will feature a CMPunk showcase, with CM punk being cover star, and through the mode, you unlock different Models of CM punk through different eras. Remember in WWE2K23 where they had all these hidden models, and we didn’t know why, they were hidden because they were being used for the showcase for 2K24. Makes sense doesn’t it. Now ya know why these models are hidden.. they’ve got something to do with the Next game.
they should fix couple entrance music fix the crowd like jey uso when he does the up and down the crowd doesn’t do it in sync they just do it outta sync idk if its just me but when the camera is looking to the other side they stop then they start doing it
We got through July. At this rate, we can make it to September 20th! Hopefully… most of us have other hobbies, work to do, and family to see! These can make the time go faster!

I think players with lower skillset have an issue with MyFaction. The Pat McAfee DLC didn't bother me, I just look at it as extra moves for my CAW. I also can't wait for the next DLC. More moves & possibly more opportunities to unlock more cards in MyFaction. Great video Assemble 👑

Matt I have found the prices for persona cards are set price by rarity so the cheapest is say ruby and the most expensive would be diamond so the higher the rarity the card is the more expensive it is
I usually play Universe mode a majority of the time or hop into quick matches. I didn't think I would enjoy MyFaction, but I've really been into it the last 3 months or so. I'll never say no to extra content between the DLCs, but I understand 2k might want to save some "new" features for 2k25. Spacing out DLC releases encourages players to give the new content a chance (not sure many are thrilled about the McAfee pack but it could be worse). We live in an era where if the content isn't officially released by 2k, a lot of the community creations are amazing, and add just about anything you could dream of.
It’s hilarious because all the over the top hate this got before it even came out has made me enjoy it more than I would have. Some of the moves are pretty cool. I just wish the wrestlers that are gone would be out of the game to not clutter stuff up. Even downloaded the new Bloodline members and they look like they came with the game. For the people who chose to pay for the DLC, It’s done. The creations are pretty awesome that you could have your own universe with just that.
For how many bugs and crashes i get in universe mode or downloading or deleting images they should just put the personas on the regular roster it’s absolutely stupid
You have to use a PC to do that you can try on console by using Spotify however it will not be the same you have to pretty much use your imagination honestly.
I am quite pleased with the locker codes as I did get the Becky Lynch persona card. I'm going to assume most people did though. Although I've not seen it mentioned. The issues with my faction and persona cards for me is that I don't play that mode enough to have tbe cards for live events a lot of the time. The reward to card cost ratio is well off imo. After buying the mania edition I don't particularly want to used real money for cards just in the hope of getting the right ones. I noticed tbey put up new persona cards in the card store but have also removed the Becky Card... (this removal is why I'm assuming everyone got her through the locker code.) I still feel personas are way over priced when compared to DLC packs or even the main game price.
Yeah rewards are so weak getting like 100mfp for a match where packs are 15-22000. Tokens are completely null and void I’ve only just unlocked my second saphire card and I have a full diamond faction 😂 the only mode worth playing is live events as every online game I’ve played it’s disconnected. And yes assemble is WAAAYYY off saying not that expensive
I bet you they’re building for a shield style reunion against the bloodline…now that triple h is in charge and aew stars have been coming to wwe…they can bring Ambrose back under the name Moxley as a one time shield style reunion before putting him into singles competition would make sense that Rollins got injured and is sitting out for a minute letting it build with subtle hints like the shield packs and stuff

I wouldn't be surprised if down the line dlc packs will become smaller for more money, because they will start putting more into myfaction. Hopefully Ultra Pro will be out next year and be responsible on dlc packs. Plus i wish Fire Pro would bring out a new game.
I can't wait for the next DLC pack can't wait to play as Carlito and Michelle McCool but I wasn't mad either with the DLC Pack 3 it's not the most hyped one but I was just excited to play as Pat McAfee as I'm a huge fan of him but it didnt really offer much in terms of actual wrestlers but because Pat was in there which made it worth while
Waiting until November for the next DLC I want with Muta is pretty wild. I may actually go back to My Faction to try and get the big bad booty dadday! I still think we should just have to holla to unlock him or maybe solve a Steiner math problem lol
So Scot Steiner just had a birthday and 2K didn't do anything like a Birthday bash like they've done so many of so I'd be sure to see something now but I hope this happens. It just feels like a missed opportunity. I didn't play My Faction until this game but one thing I learned is don't get excited for anything people find in the files or wherever. 2K should be offering several top persona cards. You know the community creation has every atirre and look for so many including CM Punk. However my faction would be the perfect place for some or a persona card.

@AssembleShow fix the servers n then add new content. The game has been basically unlayable online since launch. I can count on 1 hand the number of matches I've been able to play versus dozens n dozens of matches that never load or disconnect. 2k24 is a crap show n wwe seriously needs a new developer... 2k is garbage n always has been. The last good wwe game was 2k14 n it wasn't even made by 2k 😂
I'd not put it passed 2K as the next game comes out, they give us a DLC like the Bad Bunny one. For say 50 bucks we get all the Persona cards. If this happens I'd laugh a bit. Game companies do this a lot.
You know how they made the $10 or $15 pack bad Bunny bonus pack they should have a bonus pack for this 2K 24 and put all the rookies from NXT on that pack now that should be called the NXT rookie bonus pack
That Randy Orton vs Batista match is virtually impossible.. I’ve tried it like 10 times and if he puts one submission move on orton there’s no way to keep from tapping out.. it’s fuckin ridiculous not to mention he reverses every god damn move

If only the shield trios and single entrance actually worked in all arenas custom and in game because getting the seth persona card with the shield trons and song wont be worth it if everything doesn't work
I don’t need 3 extra versions of Punk. There’s plenty of wrestlers not in the game they could add. I’d rather have more wrestlers not in the game than extra versions of wrestlers already in the game.

The reward to card cost ratio is well off imo. After buying the mania edition I don't particularly want to used real money for cards just in the hope of getting the right ones.
I noticed tbey put up new persona cards in the card store but have also removed the Becky Card... (this removal is why I'm assuming everyone got her through the locker code.)
I still feel personas are way over priced when compared to DLC packs or even the main game price.
Yeah rewards are so weak getting like 100mfp for a match where packs are 15-22000. Tokens are completely null and void I’ve only just unlocked my second saphire card and I have a full diamond faction 😂 the only mode worth playing is live events as every online game I’ve played it’s disconnected. And yes assemble is WAAAYYY off saying not that expensive
@JC-jt3ug If I want to buy a specific card from the card market, the price seems crazy to me. Some are the price of whole packs.

I bet you they’re building for a shield style reunion against the bloodline…now that triple h is in charge and aew stars have been coming to wwe…they can bring Ambrose back under the name Moxley as a one time shield style reunion before putting him into singles competition would make sense that Rollins got injured and is sitting out for a minute letting it build with subtle hints like the shield packs and stuff

I wouldn't be surprised if down the line dlc packs will become smaller for more money, because they will start putting more into myfaction. Hopefully Ultra Pro will be out next year and be responsible on dlc packs. Plus i wish Fire Pro would bring out a new game.
I can't wait for the next DLC pack can't wait to play as Carlito and Michelle McCool but I wasn't mad either with the DLC Pack 3 it's not the most hyped one but I was just excited to play as Pat McAfee as I'm a huge fan of him but it didnt really offer much in terms of actual wrestlers but because Pat was in there which made it worth while

So Scot Steiner just had a birthday and 2K didn't do anything like a Birthday bash like they've done so many of so I'd be sure to see something now but I hope this happens. It just feels like a missed opportunity. I didn't play My Faction until this game but one thing I learned is don't get excited for anything people find in the files or wherever. 2K should be offering several top persona cards. You know the community creation has every atirre and look for so many including CM Punk. However my faction would be the perfect place for some or a persona card.
This is just crazy i got to grind months for them cards i dont play Myfaction for hours i get bord with Myfaction

@AssembleShow fix the servers n then add new content. The game has been basically unlayable online since launch. I can count on 1 hand the number of matches I've been able to play versus dozens n dozens of matches that never load or disconnect. 2k24 is a crap show n wwe seriously needs a new developer... 2k is garbage n always has been. The last good wwe game was 2k14 n it wasn't even made by 2k 😂

I'd not put it passed 2K as the next game comes out, they give us a DLC like the Bad Bunny one. For say 50 bucks we get all the Persona cards. If this happens I'd laugh a bit. Game companies do this a lot.
It would be better just to give these characters as dlc packs instead of persona cards.

That Randy Orton vs Batista match is virtually impossible.. I’ve tried it like 10 times and if he puts one submission move on orton there’s no way to keep from tapping out.. it’s fuckin ridiculous not to mention he reverses every god damn move

If only the shield trios and single entrance actually worked in all arenas custom and in game because getting the seth persona card with the shield trons and song wont be worth it if everything doesn't work

I don’t need 3 extra versions of Punk. There’s plenty of wrestlers not in the game they could add. I’d rather have more wrestlers not in the game than extra versions of wrestlers already in the game.
We might as well get the whole shield faction if that’s the case
All I know is 1 of those locker codes gave me man bun roman. Not too sure if that's for everyone but have a look.
