I grow the Jamaican Red (same pod shape) and it's basically a variant of the scotch bonnet. Very tasty pepper and somehow I managed to get a 0 heat , full flavor Jamaican Red (something like Habanada) and put away some seeds as it might come in handy for salsas or salads due to it's very sweet and fruity nature.
I love the jamaican yellow mushroom pepper. Keith sent me one of his plants this year and it grew great. I would say around habanero heat not too bad. Its very sweet and fruity. I think the burn was like a little back of throat and back of tongue didn't last long. I think its similar to scotch bonnets
Or if u have alot of them .....is what i do is dry them then make them into a flake.....might lose a little heat but not much and its good on everything ....i flake my eggs alot with cheese..
I finally get to sit down and watch this and a few more ive missed the last couple days. I couldn't wait to see this pepper. I really think this pepper was the prettiest ive ever seen. I keep trying to pick out a few to grow and this one goes to the top of the list. I bet that one would be perfect for big Al.
I grew these this year. I find the burn mostly localized to my lips. Seems like the heat is in the center and the flesh has pretty much no heat. Very interesting
I've bought a special cheese from a farm market( local). It's scorpion pepper cheese. You'd have to travel to here in ohio to get this. I believe it would move your needle. I LOVED this!! My son bought the ghost pepper cheese and that was impressive!! And so... My journey begins. Thanks for your videos brother. Proud to be part of family!
I ordered primotali seeds from Mr. Pickles. Im a bit concerned tho. Supper hots are so high maintance. I do kno the primotali takes 30 days to germinate. My question to u Johnny do they taste good???
Boss man, I dont even eat spicy foods. No pepper's or hot sauce at all for me. But some how, some way, I got introduced to your channel. And I've been subscribed every since. Love the series. Send David my love also.
Johnny, do you ever pickle or dehydrate peppers? I like to make refrigerator pickled peppers. Going to try to dehydrate some scorpion morgula next week on my Insta Pot. 🌶️
Just took a bite from a red ghost pepper and holy crap man!! I try these superhots I get Everytime I see you post a new video man. Try and chase the heat at right around the same time you do.
Wish the one I ate tonight only burned my tongue, it engulfed the roof of my mouth and the back of my throat. Started off with a burst of fruity sweetness and quickly intense heat piled on and faded away within a few minutes, the tingle lingered for a while lol. I did stress the hell out of the plant and it was a mutant to boot, habanero lvl heat, none of my other mushrooms were this hot though.
As always loving these reviews and the way these pods look #Scovillesquad #johnnyscoville JohnnyJr #chasetheheat #leagueoffire #blazingfoods and go check out johnnyscoville.com excellent products

That's kinda cheating Johnny! Hope you're having a great day mate.

These pepper caught my eyes the first seeds I ever bought . And they are now coming along well good after a winter germination.
I never look at peppers the same way anymore. After watching you, I appreciate and enjoy any pepper I eat. Keep up the awesome videos.
Quick question for anyone. What is the best way to store fresh pods? I have a few and don't want them to go bad before I can eat them all. Freezer??
Freeze them. It will not change the flavor or heat. Just the consistency. They will be mushy.
Copy that

Pickle peppers are good. Dehydrated peppers store long term.

I bought these seeds today. Can't wait to try them...
Hi Johnny, I just got 40 fresh pods to munch on. Our season in Australia doesn't finish until early December.
I grew these this year. I find the burn mostly localized to my lips. Seems like the heat is in the center and the flesh has pretty much no heat. Very interesting
Grew these for the first time this summer, Johnny! Super cool pods with great flavor and nice kick. Love that you reviewed it!
I just planted these and it is time to harvest my peppers are more of an orange color is that normal?

You're thinking of a scotch bonnet pepper. They are normally sweet and fruity. With a kick. Typical and very popular Jamaican pepper
If I got a pepper labeled "Hot jamaican pepper" from the store, does that mean it could be a scotch bonnet?
Crazy looking cool pod
