Why wouldn't he be? Phil is a horrible father to Ben - the manipulation and emotional abuse is nonstop. And Ben just had a horrible year, including being violently attacked by homophobes and Paul being murdered, and his father gave him zero support and acted like he should get over it. Even after all that, Ben was still trying to donate part of his liver to Phil, and Phil's abusive and homophobic ass still decides to cut Ben out of his will *while* they were waiting to see if Ben qualified as a donor. Phil deserves nothing from Ben.
