- Just a day after Storm Eunice battered Blackpool with 80mph gusting winds, we had our first snow of the winter 2021-22. I made sure to get out and film it while it was sticking, as snow does not hang around long in Blackpool!

Fabulous to see the old Balloon trams running again Stephen,and the old clock tower and cafe mum bought me a hat like yours, don’t know how your old one blew off as they fasten at the bottom. It makes a change to see snow settling in Blackpool or mucky pond as we called it at Rose Acre school. Anyway you have done us proud again with your fabulous video’s keep safe and well.

Hi Stephen ! It’s looks so beautiful, unfortunately where ever I live we never get much snow because we live by the sea, I did live in a village called Dunkeswell in the blackdown hills and snowed a lot there, miss a good snowfall. Take care and stay safe. xx

Well done mate. Where I am in Australia is nice enough, but you get sick of the weather being so hot every day. Seeing the snow in my hometown reminds me of the big snow that we had back in ‘95, we had so much fun for days on end.

Reminded me of the days of taking back little souvenirs for your friends after a week up for the lights. Remember buying those snow domes with the tower inside. One shake and it was a blizzard 😊

@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool Yes Stephen snow is something that is quite foreign in Plymouth. In fact we are boring in our climate, we don't have the extremes of weather like there is in the North. I don't think you would like it, I can guess that you like the bleakness which we certainly don't have down here. It is a bit too good for me, too nice. We do get snow on Dartmoor of course, which is not far from me. Just not in Plymouth.

Wowser Stephen!! Snow where I live but it is always expected as I live above the snowline. But this morning my brother in law sent me a short video of snow where he lives in Chorley. But snow in Blackpool!!! In the early 70's I lived in Southport and remember it snowing once. Anyway thanks again for the video.
