Elvis was just perfection in every way possible. Stunning beautiful smouldering good looks (the most handsome man ever), charisma, dance moves and of course that divine voice. Hello from Australia. 💕🇦🇺
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥💘💘💘💞💞💞!! Love your reaction to Our King, Elvis! The One, The Only, The Greatest of All Time!! There will never be another Entertainer like Him! ❤❤❤❤❤❤!
Great reaction . Loved your analysis of Elvis’s live compared to audio version. There is a lot of memorable performances that are popular on you tube by other reactors. I suggest starting at the beginning 1956 with live performances on TV. and follow his career through two decades and see for yourself how he transitioned from rock and roll to ballads. The quality of his vocals just got better over those years. Thanks for exposing the younger generation to this beautiful music we are so fortunate to have Elvis’s huge legacy.❤
Great Reaction to this Amazing singer/entertainer. He was chosen to be The Best Entertainer of the 20th Century. He’s been gone now for 47 years, which is longer than he was alive for, but he is not forgotten, & gaining more fans as the years pass. I’ve been a fan for almost sixty years now, & that isn’t going to change. Great song. Great stage performance in Las Vegas. Subbing for your Elvis Reactions. I see you also have If I Can Dream, which is another great Elvis song. There’s a couple of really great songs for you to React to ….. Trying To Get To You - ‘68 Comeback Special …… & An American trilogy- Aloha from Hawaii 1973 Live Concert. You will enjoy both of these.
I got teary eyed during the studio version even though I've heard it numerous times. Love the studio version and the live equally. Elvis is the greatest ever and nobody can take that from him. WE❤U ELVIS! Thank you for this reaction. I absolutely love that you did the 2 versions back to back.
Beautiful song, beautiful delivery by a gifted and beautiful artist, a very misunderstood man. The ecolution of baby faced 50s Elvis is a sight to behold and an aural treat for us all. Sadly, many people see and hear his popular stuff and don't give him a chance. Anyone who takes a deep dive into the Elvis back catalogue falls in love with his natural talent, hia ability to reach into your gut and wrench out your soul with his inimitable voice. You should watch the live vegas show of this song. It's from the 1970 recorded performances for the film Thats The Way It Is. Some great rehearsal footage om there too. Please spread the word of Elvis, it is not embarrassing to recognise his gift, we should appreciate the trail he blazed was untrodden til he came along. He left behind so much music and legacy. There is not enough footage of him, ever and we will run out one day. He deserves to be remembered with respect, he was unique and therefore timeless. Keep him alive. He always paid homage to his blues and gospel roots. He was an anomaly, opening doors for black artists to cross into the mainstream, even taking crowds to fill the clubs where Jackie Wilson wasn't attracting people to watch. Elvis pulled them UP the ladder. He knew he was at an advantage but he never forgot his roots. I just spent 6 weeks of summer introducing my kids to Elvis. He now forms part of their childhood as my mum and sisters love of Elvis formed mine. He was 🔥🔥 in every way. Nobody else comes close, not MJ not Prince (whom i love). He was all natural. There is a video analysis of his voice somewhere on TH-cam that shows Elvis' voice CANNOT be autotuned, he used it perfectly. Long live the King ❤
Jane H …. Enjoyed your Reaction. Elvis singing live, is virtually the same as listening to his recorded songs ….. when doing an energetic performance, such as this one, obviously he is putting more into the performance, but his singing is still great. Another energetic performance to React to is ….. Elvis Presley- Polk Salad Annie 1970 Las Vegas Live. You will enjoy it, I’m sure. For a more dramatic performance … Elvis - You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling - 1970 Las Vegas Live …… Another lovely song to React to is Elvis- Just Pretend- 1970 Las Vegas Live. Looking forward to your next Elvis Reaction.
Nice Reaction, thanks. Elvis' songs were quite short back then. Because of this, and because Elvis comes across even better live, it makes sense to look at studio and live versions. I like that.
Saw Elvis and subbed! Great reaction! Appreciate you hearing both. He was such a showman and loved his fans! Please react to Elvis...King of Kindness and the 8 minute version of Elvis....A Generous Heart. 1970 Live in Vegas...Just Pretend and Bridge Over Trouble Water ❤ TCB ⚡👑 Thank you for keeping his music and memory alive. 😊🌹
Truly enjoy checking out your reactions. Here is a suggestion that I am sure that you and your listeners will enjoy. The Father of Soul, whose voice greatly influenced Rod Stewart and Steve Perry (of Journey band), and many others. SAM COOKE "Teenage Sonata"
Here is his powerful, live from Vegas 1970 version th-cam.com/video/T1g5tVGZhfk/w-d-xo.html. BACKGROUND INFO: Written by Mark James in '68 it is based on one night when James was fooling around on his guitar & came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James' wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of."
Elvis performed over 1000 shows from his return to the stage in 1969 until his death in 1977 and every single one was sold out. And I believe all his shows from his first national TV appearance in 1956 until he was drafted into the Army in 1958 were all sold out as well. And as far as Vegas shows alone it took Barry Manilow 40 years to eclipse the audience record Elvis set for his Vegas shows from 1969 to 1975. He did 2 and sometimes 3 shows a night 5 or 6 days a week for 4 to 6 weeks at a time several times a year during that period and that's how his audience attendance record was so high in just 5 years of performing there and also why no one else could come close to his record until like mentioned Barry Manilow finally passed it last year after 40 years performing in Vegas. I don't think it counts personally because to actually break the record he would have to surpassed the attendance number in a shorter amount of time or number of shows than Elvis did, which obviously he did not. So in my eyes Elvis still owns the record.
BRO I hope you will see my quick comment from today, over a week past. Are you planning more ELVIS reactions? If the answer is affirmative then I plan to Subscribe to your Channel. You seem more sincere somehow; much more than the so-called "typical" reactor. Also from 1970 Live in Vegas, ELVIS sings a beautiful version of Simon and Garfunkel's "BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER". THANK YOU BRO! From the Northwoods of Minnesota!
This song hits to the soul! So relatable!! Elvis is THE KING!
