it downloaded almost when i got my laptop but i didnt download and when i click open the app on windows defender it sends me to rav what should i do does it safe and needs to stay or should i delete?
rav endpoint disables microsoft defender. it is trying to make it as if rav endpoint is the official microsoft antivirus, WHICH IT IS NOT. you have to download revo uninstaller and uninstall it with that program
I also didn't download it , I've searched a bit it seems that we've installed another app that has RAV installation within its software so its a PUP (potentially unwanted program) it is just a way for the developers of the app you've downloaded to make extra money you should uninstall it immediately it takes space and CPU usage unless you want it for the antivirus and there is a lot better options out there.
@@Lol-og9me Then how to remove it? I uninstalled it by the option on my computer bot I saw people that were saying that even after deleting there are still some files left, but I can't find anything on my computer.
no. first off, it gives a ton of false positives. second, it's an adeare like the dude on the top of me said. and third, it slows the hell out of your computer.
@@alduinfr Yes youre exactly right, it was slowing down my browser and even when I tried to screen record it wouldnt work because it would mess with my frames captured
The correct way to remove it is, to go to safe mode and remove all related folders and hope Windows still works.
if you dont recognize a app, delete it imedatelly. There is no question about it
How would I tell if it's something my computer needs
how do i delete

Bro calm down, it's just a PUP, potentially unwanted program.
On in short, it's a bloatware failure of a program. Uninstall it.
It's not malware.
