What’s shit about a vq ?! Great power, high reliability, easy to mod, cheap to maintain, sounds insane with a good exhaust system, and the list goes on. Dissing it with no arguments 👏🏾 There is no issues if you don’t like them or the way they sound, but back up your statement.
@@asymenth nah man this is just your experience, the vq is super reliable, I’m not arguing about this. Had a DE Z 3 yrs and no problems at all so I couldn’t relate. The problem is buying a clapped out one that’s been abused, that’s the real issue.
@@asymenth I’ve owned a 2005 Altima SE-R with a VQ35DE (bought with bad maintenance) the car never game me any. Now I have a 2003 Infiniti G-35 and I have had nothing but issues VQ35DE’S are very strong motors with normal maintenance will last a long time because my friends G35 has 198k miles and it’s his first car.

That’s just not true your comment was 2 years ago I bought a 11 Maxima during that same year with 120k miles in at 170k now driving the piss out of this car and it has yet to give me real problems besides my alignment being a little off after doing fwd donuts in the snow and hitting a curb and I recently bought a g just to beat the piss out of it and the damn thing is still up and running maintenance is key
Brooo please tell me how u got it sliding like that??? I can’t find any info anywhere on autos I tried sliding with traction control off by pulling the fuse under the hood but it wasn’t sliding right.
Yeah g35’s have hella problems, I had an 04 coupe and it had a lot electrical and engine problems, not to mention the fuckin doors wouldn’t stay open and the brakes would squeak like crazy even when I put new ones smh

I own a G35 with the VQ35DE… and it’s nothing but issues on end because of the horrible VQ. Just get a G35 with an HR or a G37 with a VHR.

Overheating is a common issue. Just means you got some air in the coolant system. Bleed it, overheating will be gone!

4700 is to much for a 2004 g35 that’s how much the 07-08 g35 go and those are way better in my opinion
