    What a beautiful guitar! I love Ibanez S420s. I have the all black version. The ball bearing ZR trem is the best.

    for your own information, the trem is the ZR, not the Edge zero II, and the one has nothing to do with the other

    Great video!! Very informative was that "simple green "you used to clean the frets and pickups . thanks again keep up the great work!!

    Please cover your pickups with tape if using steel wool. You get tiny particles that are attracted to your pickups magnets.

      Not using steel wool. I’m using micromesh. I used to use steel wool and back then I did cover all electronics. Thanks for watching!

    Those damn Floyd Rose"ish" Bridges. Working on one now...though half heartedly.

      The Edge Zero II is much easier to work on than a Floyd. No need to block the trem. There is a Carvin Ultra V with a Floyd video that I'm currently editing that was a much bigger pain to work on.

    Hello! Great informative video I'm interested getting a guitar with this tremolo system. Quick question do you need to block the trem while changing the strings?

    Hello! I would like to ask! I want to buy an Ibanez with edge zero 2 (rgd320z model) ! It's a baritone guitar. Can I tune to E standard with edge zero 2 ? By factor is in D standard tone!

    • @stringmanguitars4329
      @stringmanguitars4329  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know I would expect so. I don't have much experience about baritone guitars. You might check Ibanez boards.

    Dear Sir, Could you do a video on the Edge Zero 2 trem on how to set it up ? I've send in my guitar at 2 different luthiers, at 130$ each,for a set up, and they just set the tremolo straight, not considering the stop bar at all. To this point i'm thinking of getting rid of the guitar because it's driving me insane.

    • @stringmanguitars4329
      @stringmanguitars4329  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You use the stop bar to set it straight or you can pout the stop bar out of play so out acts like a Floyd Rose. I don't have the guitar anymore, but if I get another in the shop I'll do a video specifically on how to use the stop bar. Thanks for watching!

    • @srdjanmijatov
      @srdjanmijatov 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same with me. I changed gauge of strings and downtuned half step but stop bar is not touching tremolo block anymore. The video about stop bar particularly would be appreciated.

    Hello! is it required to release the string tension to adjust the string height on this type of bridge?

    I never experience using anythin like WD40 or Ballistol or similar to work well potentiometers - switches is a different thing. Trying to clean potentiometers makes it worse in most cases - or what do you use ?

      In this case, Radio Shack black and white tuner cleaner. Similar to Deoxit. Have a case of it from when they closed all corporate stores.

    What Year is it?

  • @VolfiMartin
    @VolfiMartin 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I have an s420 from 2009. And I bought the guitar because it has a bearing tremolo. After X year I have to say that the tremolo is a piece of sh.t. The entire tremolo is zinc alloy and my saddles and nut are totally ruined. Price of new tremolo unit from prestige series prices about 450$, but I dont know if that prestige series ZR made from steel or zinc alloy…..
