When you write your B matrix, to be more general, it should be B(1)=-(U(n,2)+d*U(n+1,1)); B(N-2)=-(U(n,N-1)+d*U(n+1,N)); So that you can apply to other cases. Btw, thank you again for the video, it really helped me.
I am going through paper finite difference approximation to the heat equation and stuck at point where coefficient matrix for explicit method were written where first row become 1 0 0 0 0 ...0 and last row become 0 0 0 0 0...1 instead of 1-2r r 0 0 0...0(1st row orignal) and 0 0 0 0 0... r 1- 2r(last original row)
