    Batman leading the civilians out of the overflown stadium was a beautiful moment. Bruce who spent the first two years angry and alone, decided to help those in need. Becoming a symbol of hope to the people of Gotham. Love it.

    *SPOILER*
    Batman's arc on this movie has to be my favourite on any Batman movie. He started full of hate, telling us that he's the shadows, telling criminals he's vengance. And by the end, he cut a wire and got electrocuted in order to save the few survivors left. He fell to the water, and then re-emerged from it as if being baptized, which symbolizes rebirth. Finally, he proceded to help the people that were trapped and guided them with his light out of the shadows. And now he can fight, not for vengance and with hate for the ugliest side of the city, but with love for the people of Gotham that are still worth saving.

      I love when he took the boys hand. Like... Batman has spent this whole movie putting up a wall between himself and others, drifting aimless with hatred and pain, and the second he saves someone, the moment he makes that connection, he finds a true purpose. You can see that just as much as he's saving them, they just saved him. If there's any director I trust to capture Batman's sheer capacity for love, its Reeves.

No dialogue, just a scene and it's score, a hero done right, and an example of beautiful film. I think the fact that he is determined to persevere and be better in such a hostile and disturbing environment as Gotham and it's crime is, and as traumatized as he is, speaks louder than Superman. It teaches the viewer that regardless of the tumultuous and the darkness of somebody's past, or other external and circumstantial factors, you can still heal, improve your situation, if you choose to. Bruce is just a man, but within that, he's just as heroic or more than Superman.

    Just like that, they made Battinson mirror the DCAU version of Batman. Particularly the most hopeful and tender version of the character before he grew old and bitter. When Battinson held the child's hand and resolved to be a symbol of hope I could picture him like the kind of Batman that held Ace's hand when she was about to die in Justice League Unlimited. This was a perfect development of the character and hit every note regarding the personality of Batman, yet giving us what we've always wanted...

    The scene of batman in the water with the flare was everything. It showed, in a scene with very little dialogue, what batman means. What nearly every movie has gotten wrong. He's not just a violent maniac beating up criminals (though he is that), he's not the punisher without guns. At that moment he wasn't a vigilante, he was a hero. He was down in the muck with the people of Gotham, lighting the way to safety. Taking the beating, and then still showing them that there's a better way than living in the dark.

    I think this is when Bruce realizes that he’ll being Batman isn’t just stopping crime. Because it seems like he’ll go by Vengeance at first and then The Batman in the translator song. I think Bruce will take up the mantle of The Batman and see being Batman means hope and much more than just stopping crime. I still think this will end in a big cliffhanger

    Next to Beautiful Lie from BvS, these two tracks respectively represent the Batman which are both Ben and Rob. Both go on equal journeys of becoming something more than vengeance and anger, and making pledges on graves thus becoming more. A symbol of hope, A bright light within Gotham. And to the world.
    A slient guardian, A watchful protector.

    • @AzraelSoulHunter
      @AzraelSoulHunter 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We may get Hush in the next one and Court of Owls. This movie greatly hints at both. With reporter who was killed being Edward Elliot (also Hush-money and HUSH appearing on screen) and DA being so horribly afraid of ratting out Falcone and saying "It's entire system" which really made it feel like Court of Owls is involved in this somehow with Falcone possibly being one of it's higher members.

      @@AzraelSoulHunter judging by how Reeves talks more about using Mr. Freeze, he may use him for the next film. Hush and the Court Of Owls i think should be used later for these films.

    • @AzraelSoulHunter
      @AzraelSoulHunter 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mikephelps9238 I think it actually would be better if Court and Hush were used in 2nd one. This could be transitional movie where this Batman fully becomes a hero he is meant to be (since the one we already have ends on him starting that journey) and in the 3rd one he would go from a hero to superhero by battling a supernatural villain.

    • @mikephelps9238
      @mikephelps9238 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AzraelSoulHunter well I don’t think they should use the court of owls or hush in the second movie because it would feel rushed. Mr Freeze, to me, fits since I think it would not only show Bruce learning to use the Wayne persona, but also learn compassion as Batman, which leads to him trying to reason with Freeze.

    Already I love this scene and this track for what it represents: Vengeance is not enough, Gotham needs and is given something else: The Batman. Such a great character arc for Batman.
    But that's not what I will always remember this scene for. I'll always remember looking over to see my older brother, a massive Batman fan since he was practically born, in full tears of joy when Batman removes the debris and saves the people. Only lit up by the flare. My brother saw his childhood hero come to life at that moment more than ever before and to see him so happy made me the happiest sister in the world at that moment. I just pat him on the shoulder then continued to watch the rest of this powerful ending.
