you shouldn't turn off attack while moving but change the distance to close-range. attack while moving give benefits to marksman, the problem is your chase range is standard. if you change it to close range with attack while moving on, you will attack the enemy if they are inside your attack range, you can poke the eneemy while they are chasing you despite your analog button is moving, and no need to worry because you won't chase the enemy if they are outside your attack range. on the other hand if you turn off attack while moving, the enemy will just rush into you without worrying they are getting attacked.
Couldn't you just spam the attack button for this? what if a minion, summon or turret is also close/melee range? Also what do you think of Directional Indicator?
well, depend. the first setting supposed to be auto lock enemy heroes even though they're outside your range. otherwise you will slash thin air instead of attacking them which is funny according to the enemy.
i have big problem with Charlotte basic atk (passive) it always atk random things that are far or something stupid like she atk monster/mop instead of atk the heroes with 0 hp i lost so many times because of this stupid sht
Erm.....your situation, I think you need to turn on the attack while moving, also choose the lowest absolute health and for the auto chase distance choose standard will do. I think setting these three settings is enough. Hope it's work for you ❤

As long as once you turn off the "Attack While Moving", either you use blink or flash once it's out of your basic attack range. Whatever how you keep tapping the attack button your hero will stop and won't turn back to attack the enemies. If still not sure, it's OK, you just need to pay attention to your basic attack range, when you tap your basic attack button you will see there is a blue circle surrounding at your hero below, that will be the basic attack range. 😊

Make sure to change auto-chase distance to close range as sometimes it will draw you closer to an enemy hero when you don’t want to target them!

How about the flash or blink, if i use it to get out of fight and tap it,, i blink in front of enemy unlike wr just tap it.
