- Summer in Carlsbad, California my favorite place in San Diego county. So many beautiful frames and scenes here everyday

@@QuickAssTutorials How much work went into color grading this? Looks amazing. Color grading is a weak point for me though
What I liked most about it was that shy of a couple of clips, this DID NOT feel like a drone video. The slow, smooth flight and transitions helped to let me get lost in the scenery and not focus on how it was captured. Awesome work!!!
Beautiful. We bought a timeshare there when we lived in Hermosa Beach. Now living in Oregon we go there with the kids every summer. Thanks for this footage.
Stunning footage, beautiful area. You are blessed to live in that little piece of paradise Alex. I thought of you yesterday when filming for a local FD 1 town away. Massive brush fires (2) burned about 50 acres. The second location was discovered when I flew the perimeter of the 1st fire, and it grew to almost the same size before equipment and manpower could get to the area. I'm part 107 and mainly do cell tower, communication stacks, and water tower inspections. Lately though, lots of solar arrays on rooftops of commercial buildings. Have a fantastic day, stay happy!

Its noise is scary only for them the first few seconds of flight, then it magically shifts to being a supermagnet for the little kids

Huh, so that's what was there. Spent a week in Carlsbad, and never saw past the sand the fog was so bad.
That fog SUCKED July-August, so crap and muggy I wouldn’t film. Perfect for the rest of the year though

Looks awesome! Was debating between prores and raw and I think that prores gives enough flexibility to edit in post. The grading looks very good!
If I could only choose one, PRORES. Very gradeable and just convenient. RAW is not realistic for the work, plus on a $900 512gb SSD I only get 15 minutes of it lol

I really recommend you make an Instagram, it has lots of young people who may get you more known, also I just purchased a drone, it’s a dji mavic mini; do you think this is a good start for drone photography?
a good start to learn framing. That drone either does a great job for its limitations, or just looks very lame. it's like 50/50 and I never know. My best shots with it are adjacent to the sun, so not facing it and not shooting opposite of it. REALLY a cool drone for $400 though and it is wayyyy less stressful than the giant inspire 2. It's like a noisy helicopter, everybody looks
