Back within 3 weeks after actively promoting locally and internationally, VAV is back with their new album ‘No doubt’. The friendship between boys, “bromance” is expressed through their second mini album ‘Brotherhood’.
Through this album, it draws a picture of a real man expressing his love. The title song of the album ‘No doubt’ is a song expressing the longing-ness for his past lover and the times they have spent together. With the gentle and soft voice of a female that stands out in the intro, this a song where you can listen during the cool summer night as it shows VAV’s different colors through their first ballad song.
The music video of the title song ‘No doubt’ this time round is taken in Germany and Scotland to convey the image of dreamy and emotional love towards the lover. With the grand and beautiful sceneries of the nature and castles in Germany and Scotland as the background, to express the story of a man’s feelings of chasing for his lover, the music video is upgraded as the beautiful scenery and story unfolds.
There is also a huge advancement on the performance side. To accentuate the hurtful love of the man towards his lover, the moderation of the choreography and composition of the stages are implemented. It will also improve the interpretation of the lyrics and maximize the impact of the song towards to public.
The second track ‘Mirrage’ is connected to the title song ‘No doubt’ and expresses the story of a winter’s dream of that girl through a more bright and dreamy illustration. The content of the lyrics reveals the melting “love, sympathy, regrets, longing……” etc. feelings and is expressed just as it is. Confused whether it is just their imagination or reality, it shows the cute side of the VAV members through this song. The peaceful chorus line tickles the ears to the sweet song.
This album represents the feeling of longing for the person you love as you feel like you are walking through a dream, displaying the upgraded and manly side of VAV. The transformation of VAV’s image to emotional-idol will be expected to be presented through the active promotions of their Second Mini Album Part.2 starting from the coming July 1st.

남자들의 우정, 브로맨스를 그린 두 번째 미니앨범 ‘Brotherhood’ 발매 이후 국내외로 활발한 활동을 보여준 VAV(브이에이브이)가 3주 만에 새로운 앨범 ‘No doubt(노답)’으로 돌아왔다.
VAV는 이번 앨범을 통해 상남자의 사랑표현을 그린다. 타이틀곡 ‘No doubt(노답)’은 멤버 겨울의 꿈속을 음악으로 표현한 곡으로 옛 애인을 그리워하며 그녀와 함께했던 시간을 그리워하는 남자의 마음을 가사에 담아냈다. 인트로의 감미로운 여성 보이스 샘플 사용이 돋보이는 곡으로 여름밤 듣기 편한 VAV의 색깔로 풀어낸 발라드 곡을 처음으로 선보인다.
이번 타이틀곡 ‘No doubt(노답)’의 뮤직비디오는 사랑하는 연인을 상상 속에서 그리는 몽환적이며 감각적인 그림을 연출해내기 위해 독일과 스코틀랜드에서 촬영을 진행했다. 독일과 스코틀랜드의 웅장한 대자연과 성을 배경으로 사라져만 가는 사랑하는 연인을 쫓는 남자의 마음을 스토리로 풀어내며 뮤직비디오의 영상미를 한층 업그레이드 시켰다.
퍼포먼스적인 면에서의 변화도 눈에 띈다. 가슴 아픈 사랑 표현을 강조하기 위해 한층 절제된 안무로 무대를 구성하여 곡과 가사에서 느껴지는 깊은 감정을 극대화시켜 표현해냈다.
두 번째 트랙 ‘신기루(Mirrage)’는 타이틀곡 ‘No doubt(노답)’과 연결되는 곡으로 겨울의 꿈속 그녀를 좀 더 밝고 몽환적으로 표현한 곡이다. 가사 내용에 녹아 있는 ‘사랑, 연민, 후회, 그리움……’ 등이 고스란히 담겨 있다. 현실인지 꿈속인지 헷갈려 하는 VAV 멤버들의 모습이 귀엽게 표현되어 있는 곡이다. 편안한 코러스 라인이 귀를 간질이는 달콤한 곡이다.
사랑하는 사람을 그리며 꿈 속을 걷는 느낌을 표현한 이번 앨범을 통해 VAV의 남성적인 면이 한층 업그레이드 됨을 느낄 수 있다. ‘감성돌’로의 진화를 예고한 VAV는 오는 7월 1일 정오 두 번째 미니앨범 Part.2를 발매하고 활발한 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

I dont get it why is this song getting so much hate? This is so *PERFECT* at so many levels. Do you see the aesthetic sense in this music video? It is incredible. The choreography and vocals and rap. the video definitely is aesthetic goals and they really have their own! I liked brotherhood a bit more I guess because in this one they had parts which I found sounded a little weird, similar to some parts in moonlight. I guess I still like it tho.
