The BBC made a mistake when they let VBH go. If they ever tried to bring her back to Top Gear she would be a hugely welcome addition. But what is BBC'S loss is Channel 5's gain.
Underappreciated video! Amazing job everyone and the choice of the host was spot on! Peugeot should stick this to Netflix and make other smaller videos drilling into the story of their cars. It should also invest into retrofitting old but still new-ish cars offering owners the possibility of turning their existing investment into an electric vehicle. Lead the way and others will follow! This is sustainability pure and simple and it's being done in France by a start-up company already charging 8K euros for a medium-size car.
Terrific diesel engines, great handling and comfortable ride quality always a trait of Peugeot. Generally good looking aswell. Their new range looks on the pace.
Quite good summary. However the car that Put Peugeot on the map was the 203, which won numerous rallies. After that the 403, 404 & 504 became very popular in Australia, Africa, Argentina where there was harsh climate and pretty terrible roads. They were well ahead of competitors. Our family has had Peugeots since 1957 (approx) and ran the only taxi run in Australia that ran exclusively on Peugeots. Great cars. I now have a 2012 Peugeot 308 HDi (2L diesel). A brilliant engine. My favourite was still the 1969 Peugeot 404. A brilliant car which was well ahead of its time. The harder you drove it the better it went.
The thing I have often found with Peugeot is just how comfortable their seats are. My Dad started working in a new job in 1992, and his first company car was a Peugeot 405 GLD turbo. His first ever diesel engine car, 2 litre, J-reg it was one of the best cars we ever had in our family because he bought it off the company when it came time to change it. Sadly, his next company car was a Vauxhall Cavalier. Probably the worst car seats in terms of comfort, road handling was dreadful compared to the Peugeot. Peugeot had much more room inside it even though it was a saloon and the Vauxhall was a hatchback. The 405 remained in our family for 13 years in total. Excellent car.

No real stuff on those excellent 50s, 60s, 70s Peugeot'😢s. Brilliant cars: durable, reliable, parts made to be repaired. Beautiful Steering, equal to any car. Long travel, stable, tough, accurate Front Ends and Brakes that had both feel and effectiveness.
The best taxi drivers car,or were.Theyve gone a bit too pricey now but when i owned three of them, all diesel, they were very reliable and cheaper to run.The diesels are the best in the world.
@@allanbriggs807 erm have owned many good Peugeots such as 205 guys but modern ones are complete piles of steaming horse dung compared to the good old days
I have a big soft spot for the Peugeot car brand. I think, still think, it has built more good cars, than sister Citroen or Renault. The absolutely stunning timeless 406 Coupe V6, was indeed Peugeot's last Hurrah. Peugeot have totally lost the plot now...........making the most ugly and average performing cars.
I agree with everything Vicki Butler-Henderson says. She is ace.

Peugeot 405 my favourite car,my dad had this from 1991 1,6 GR
No mention of 206 WRC 3 time world champions 3 years in a row. 2000 to 2002. Marcus Gronholm Really 🤔 ?
Where is the robust 206 and the stylish 207, the amazing RCZ in the video ?
Have a Peugeot RCZ-R and also a Peugeot Peppermill in the same colour. Uncanny.
Was a high volume seller, was a Peugeot flop.

Very nice report!
I just love to listen to Vicki
505, my fav.
Peugeot 206 is my favourite
Wonderful.
The 205 makes me want to be born 20 years earlier. 😉
Yeah and later on I would have moved on to a 406 Coupe then... But actually there's a lot of cars that give me that feeling...
RCZ!! 🥰🤩
Woot! No mention of the RCZ? Come one Peugeot!
THE RCZ was a flop for Peugeot.
Isso só prova como brasileiros entendem de carro com.e de política! Congratulations Peugeot!
Legendary marque.

Cool lass
406 ST is best car!
Yes, this car became German Super Tourer Champions in 1997 with none other than former Touring Car star Laurent Aiello.
206!!!!
I like Vicki and some Peugeotes.
Talking about Peugeot and not even one word about 206 wrc ????

No. Peugeot is making a lot of nice stunners. One great example is the 508.
eh ... they won in 85 and 86
Never mind the cars, VBH 🤗
