They are a menace to polite tank fighting. I will lose a match to hunt down the Puma that kills my IS2 from some sneaky place he has no business being in.
There are certainly vehicles that are less prone to being ammo racked. From my experience, the chance of an ammo rack at one shot depends on the size of ammo stored in the ammo rack and the size of the bullet used to achieve it. The chance for surviving an ammo rack depends on wich type of ammo is stored. If you mainly store HE and Heat, than the chance of survival is minimal, compared to apcr, apcbc or apfsds (solid shot). If you store so called "one piece ammo" your chance of surviving an ammo rack is even lower compared to storing "two piece ammo". This is the case, because, as the name suggests, two piece ammo is divided in two parts, the projectile and the propellant. As both are store in different places and the propellant doesn't go of (causing an ammorack) when being shot at and disapearing, you got a 50/50 chance, when the enemy shoots you, as pretty much everyone assumes that "ammo is ammo", wich explodes anyway. I assume Gayjin modelled it this way because two piece ammo propellants in real life are very resilliant to impact induced detonation, or rather, they were developed this way. Examples for the two piece ammunition type tanks are the SU 122, the KV2, the T72 or pretty much every tank armed with a howitzer cannon with a caliber of more than 105 mm in the game.
@@FRFFW What was the caliber of the gun you shot him with? If it is small enough, or had a low enough velocity, basically doing a much more limited ammount of damage, it can damage the ammunition, making it usless (therefor going black and disappearing) but not detonating it.
@@FRFFW I guess you mean "open top" tanks? Overpressure has nothing to do with a situation were you first have to pen armor to accumulat damage. It can very well be, that the round had very little post penetration damage, due to the armor esating up all it's kinetic energy. Have you shot the IS at a shallow angle, or maybe at a relatively high distance?

0:08 amazing BT-7M lol
He said "weeee"
That BT-7m was challenging you to a speed contest, but he messed up on agility with that sideslip.

That's my favorite low br scout. It's a good get outta jail free card if used right.
I literally wanted to see your reaction at 0:08 lol

Is it random to survive ammo racked or is there certain vehicles that can survive ammo racked?

People really really do underestimate this vehicle im using it in BR 4.0 and still winning games especially when you spot and use artillery

Lessgooo Puma:)
This tank can stand still with apfsds😆
0:08 what happened there😂🤣
Can you do a video on the Type 87 RCV?
Did Gaijin rename this vehicle? I don't think I've seen the "TD" at the end of the name before, or is this a special version of the puma?
TD stands for twitch drop
00:09 OMG is the tank driver drunk?? ️
Hey nukenus, do you know what a good top tier mbt is? Like leo2a6, Abrams, bvm?
They’re all good, Abrams is the most affordable
hidden Puma......😉
Nice
Lol , you played without FPE and full ammo in the 1st game XD.
But your skill show this vehicle is also good when he's stock

Soviet milk truck with 25mm cannons
Not really a rival, rival means its rival it with something they both do, SARC or the AB-43 would be a way better comparisson
