I love these cards! They are stunning ! Vellum is not something I have used a lot, I will definitely try to create some cards with it. You inspired me 😊
What a lovely thing to hear. 💕 Vellum is one of my longest term relationships and I still love it just like on the 1st day. 😊 I would love to see what you create. If you're on Instagram, please tag me.
Hello I’m a New subscriber :) and I absolutely LOVED this video. I’m now binge watching your channel. You have some amazing ideas that I’ve gotten so much inspiration from. Thank you, from an Irish ☘️ ex pat living in England Aoife xx
Hi Aoife, I am Brazilian living in Ireland. I love your beautiful country. ❤️🇮🇪 I am so happy that you liked it, this was one of my favourite videos to make. I do believe that vellum doesn't get enough love. 🤭 I hope you enjoy the other ones too.
Hi Vanessa, sorry for taking so long to reply to your lovely message. I wanted to check out the videos you mentioned first. 😊 What a lovely and beautiful method and I had never heard about it before. Thank you for watching my video and for your recommendation, I need to watch more of their videos. 💕
What is a dotted plate. I looked at Altenew but found nothing by that name. Great video, by the way. I love vellum so any new ideas you can count me in
Hi Monica, thank you for your encouraging words. 💕 I call dotted plates the background plates that don't cut or emboss, but add pierced patterns to your panel. Although some of them will cut your panel to 5.5 by 4 1/4 inches. The Altenew ones are called Cover Dies and they have beautiful patterns. The one I used on this video is called Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die. I have a couple more videos on vellum cards. Vellum is my favourite. 😁 I believe I have a vellum playlist already, if you want to check out more.
Can you explain why you didn't just cut out the areas with a scissor the regular way; what's the purpose of using both tips to cut the areas? Also I would be interested to see how you use those tools from your home country, I've never seen them before.
Thank you for watching and for your question. 💕 You could cut it the regular way, but it would give you a straight cut. If you cut it my overcomplicated way 😂 then you get a texture, a bit like a perforated area. That's all. I think it looks cute. When you use it on 4 dots arranged as a square, for example, after you use the scissors it looks like a 4-point star or 4-petal flower. I have a couple more videos using these techniques in vellum. You might be able to see it better. I will try to make a video showing the other tools in the future. ☺️
WAW WEE😍Grear Video, I've never seen vellum used that way. We would like to see more tutorials. Thank you. Fantastic😍😍
I'm glad you like it.❤️🩹 Vellum is my favourite thing to play with.☺️

The cards are very elegant and if you like using vellum have a look at Clarity Stamps videos for more uses of vellum using the Groovi method
