I went there in 1987 while visiting my husband's family in N.C and after seeing Dirty Dancing. It was beautiful, but there had been a flood and there was debris from that. Climbed up a big stone edifice, wandered around in the forest... It feels like a dream I had... long ago and far away.
And a special someone was just joking about how nice it would be to have riverfront property in the future. Anyway, that's your problem. I'm giving to the red cross.
