Jesus was not actually born December 25th, the wisemen didn’t see him the night he was born either. This was a pagan holiday where people would worship the sun god, people wanted a day to worship God instead of the sun god, that’s how it became a day to celebrate Him, and then it became a trend to decorate and so on. Hey girl!! (15:54) That was so sweet about the Starbucks gift card but another helpful tip for next time is to instead load it into your account and then screenshot the digital code/barcode that way multiple people can claim it and use it till it has nothing left! :-) Also you’ll get updates on who buys what and it’ll only be allowed to be claimed in store or via drive thru ! So it’ll stop people from taking advantage (hopefully) and being able to be used by more than one person! 😊

No date is given for it in the Bible. We can only estimate when it was. We ended up celebrating on December 25th based on the idea that the day he was born was nine months after Mary was told that she'd have a special baby on March 25th.

A lot of the research following the bible actually shows that Jesus was born in the summer. I can't remember what study it was, but astrologists studied how the stars were described to have aligned in the bible and compared to a bunch of other correlations. The all narrowed down that he was born in June i believe. I cant remember the exact date as I'm. not religious and just studied it out of interest, but yeah, fun fact!

Jesus was born in July because when you read the Bible it describes the weather and he was born in a manger out surrounded by animals by farm animals and it was the hottest time of year. It’s not hot in December and all animals either hibernate or stay in a shelter when it’s cold not staying outside and July is the hottest time of the year.
