That's what they are called. It means they're not real gold/silver etc. There's two categories fine jewelry and costume jewelry
I love the boots. Bought my nana a handbag. Realised a day later the hand strap can be turned into a belt.
I have the same issue with costume jewelry. It's usually because we are allergic to the nickel component in the metals. I like to coat Neosporin or bacitracin to the stud of the earring before wearing. This method almost eliminates the irritation. Try it and let me know if it works for you too!
Yes I’m allergic to fake metals also. It’s horrible. I can’t Let the belt buckle touch my skin either because I’ll break out it’s ridiculous I need a solid gold belt buckle now🥰
