  • ▶️ Check out how baboons trick others onto a lion's dinner table: • How These Baboons Tric...
Lions are fiercely territorial, willing to fight off any and all trespassers. But out here in the savanna, territory doesn’t have to be a patch of land. For a nomadic pride, it can also be a buffalo herd.
What happens when lions’ law is broken and one pride dares to cross a territorial line? Can the losers of this battle rescue a young hostage? Or will it prove to be every lioness for herself?

The footage was unique. I grew up around animals and normally the reason for a slow kill is to attack but keep from getting injured during the attack, some animals are cruel but they are not like us especially under the heat of the sun. The daughter knew she was trespassing, on some level they trespassed to fight. When this happened the other set of lions went into a defensive deadly kill fight mode.

Words "Cruelly Tortured" don't apply to Wild Life. They are born only for their survival. And they do anything for their own survival. They consider other herds other than own as a threat for them.
If we Humans adopt/shows this kind of behavior then we can say that it's Cruelly Tortured because we have a concept of right and wrong/good and evil (consciousness).

@@shatnermohanty6678 that’s not actually true. Yes the male lion does most of the fighting especially with males but rival prides do fight a lot and it’s usually the lionesses fighting. Lionesses also will gang up on males during a takeover and have been known to chase the males off. I forgot which pride but the drove away some Mapogo males who had to return with more brothers it’s why coalitions of males make it much easier to take over prides because larger prides have more females who will fight back and could win if there’s 4 or more lionesses for every male. Lionesses are half the size and strength as males so a bunch of lionesses in a massive pride have been able to chase out young nomadic males during takeovers. Also again prides do actually fight and it’s not that unheard of and that’s were lionesses fight. Male lions are the main protectors but the lionesses are the last line of defense.
In short, it’s not that rare for lionesses to fight, it’s just more common for males to fight.
Quick edit: Forgot to mention it but it’s less common but males will hunt for the pride and it’s not unheard of for males when with the pride when not patrolling will help hunt and are extremely helpful when taking down big game. Some prides really depend on their males to hunt giraffes.

To capture the authentic experience. To interfere with the situation leaves us in the dark about what would really happen if the animal got hurt. These are nature documentaries, not fictional shows where we can write our own ideal ending. Outside of nature documentaries there are typically rescue teams who will help the animals regardless and may even house them and help them mate to increase populations. The cuter side to lions if you wanna say it that way.

I think this is a footage of the documentary on Love Nature about the two lion tribes near the Lungawa riverbed and there was a big fight between the two tribes where 2 tribes became 1 big tribe and a few were led astray and didn't claim any territory of their own thus the name Nomads tribe a few youngsters who roam the landscape scrapping by from the herd of buffalos to eat and survive.... hends the nicknames i heard in this video which was given by the narator to these 2 lion tribes the Pride and the Nomads....
However its truly remarkable that from the documentary i've learn alot about the behaviour of lions..... they do actually some things in retaliation if it comes when they have admit defeat before..... so this is the retaliation of the Nomads who has seen their own pride members been slaughtered to death when they were juveniles...... but yet doesn't have the will and thrive to do the same to the youngster lioness the use as bait to draw attention of the pride...... so yes i can state this is an act of revenge... if you know what has happened to the entire tale of the 2 tribes at forehand....

What are the underlying reasons ? Is it they are dominated by battle inexperience young lionesses or the problem is the terrain of the battlefield , ?
