I love the Drone shots. I’m a FPV drone pilot myself. I had a drive test today. I will get this SUV Monday. I will do a great video with it 🔥

200 miles of range from a 9.35 gallon tank? I hope that's way off because that's 21 mpg.

It is way off as ive spoken to owners and they are averaging around 430miles to a tank of mixed driving.

Good review but the range estimate is significantly off, particularly when considering longer runs in hybrid mode (which is what this would be driven in most of the time).

Yeah, not sure where numbers he came up with are coming from.

If its like the Gulia, thos gear shift paddles are 100% the reason I didn't buy that car. Bashing my fingers on them every time I needed to use the turn signal was annoying enough for me to walk away from the car. I was hoping with the Tonale they sized them down so they were not in the way - like how they are on my current car, and the one I had before. Hopefully Tonale will have a model without those paddle shifters.

Nice video, thanks. Well, I get about 600 miles in my old 159 1.9 diesel in one tank (70 liters) and no, I'm just gonna switch to a Guilia in some time.

They've just removed the diesel engine from the Giulia line-up with the facelift. The 280hp petrol's good in the new Giulia, but expect about 32mpg...

IMO it looks great. Other than that: 1.3L ICE turbo tuned to the max does not seem good for longevity or reliability. Only runs on premium gasoline. Wimpy electric motor means sluggish in pure EV mode. Estimated range is only 310 miles using gasoline and a fully charged battery. Another unknown is how well does it resist Northeastern USA winter road salt?

Can it drive for any distance without engaging the petrol engine? I took one for test drive and annoyingly the petrol engine was kicking in at fairly low speeds. I had no idea if I could keep the petrol engine from firing up at town speeds. It’s $75,000AUD in my town. An awful lot for a shopping trolley.

The PHEV? Mine certainly doesn't. I drive it for days on end on electric only.

@@GuySwarbrick No, I test-drove the mild hybrid model.

@jamesroseby3823 The MHEV is petrol-powered. The e-motor provides torque fill and small amounts of motive power for things like parking and crawling in traffic, but it's designed to operate up to about 15kph in urban environments and at 80-ish on highways - for very small periods of time. It's far more useful than most mild hybrids, which just use regen to charge the 12V battery, but it's a tiny 48V battery.

Hey there please don't knock the 15cc mild hybrid as its a brilliant stylish car better than the plug in rubbish.
