I just rewatched X-Men 1 & 2 and one thing that really impressed me was how quiet and sophisticated the films are. The MCU films have sort of devolved into characters quipping and boring sci-fi exposition. But these films feel felt very restrained and when the characters did speak they always had something truthful to say (except for the odd things like ‘do you know what happens to a toad when it gets struck by lightning?’)
I’m a big Metal Gear solid fan! Specially snake eater. Until today watching the old x-men on Disney and saw the credits I saw David hater!!! I was like that’s the dude who voiced snake! So I google it and ended up here
It's a milestone as much as Batman 89 and Iron Man, for sure. It kicked off the Marvel movie craze for a big chunk of the 21st century and set the precedent for what superhero movies were going to look like for time to come.

3:35 Wow that's interesting! So that would be in X3 if they had Hayter write the script.
