Almost 9 years ago. My first and only in-game friends, Kamrin and Lukas. I never met them in real life but they were my first experience having friends online. Our time was short but we shared funny moments. I'm sure they don't remember me, each other or even the game, they stopped logging in suddenly and then it was only me until I met like 2 more people who were special but I don't remember their names. I remember the day I found out it was closing someone said they didn't have friends in real life and this was the only place she made friends. It made me cry the day it closed down because I'd realized what I had lost and what she had lost. I felt bad for her :'(
That would be me, I had so many good friends on there, I told them to go on a game called last moon right before it ended, I haven't heard from them in the game, I think I've lost them forever.
This brings me back to the days of waking up at 5am just to play Freerealms before school. I remember, one morning, trying my hardest to find exploration coins (because I wanted to collect all the explorer backpacks) and I stumbled upon this place. The music was so serene - and also being a WoW player around the same time (yes I was VERY young to be playing that game lol) - I was shocked to find Freerealms actually had lore to it. Even since I was a kid, I've always been entranced by well-written lore, and I remember Freerealms lore having this air of mystery to it. All the theories on freerealmsinsider about what Blackspore used to be, If we'd ever get to make Elf, Chugawug, or Changeling characters, etc. This game had so much potential. I remember the hero storyline right before the game's end being a dream come. It's sad it had to end so quickly.

I really hope so much that it comes back. This game was my drug and I remember getting home after a long, hard day just to get on the computer and play this for hours. I loved Memorial Caverns b/c the music would help me cool down and it was so beautiful. I've been trying to find a game closest to it (besides freaking World of Witchcraft) and I found Sims 3-4. I've been playing those games ever since and it's helped for a while but it's definitely NOT the same. And running across this video has (I admit it) made me cry. plsssss i wan it back :c

Honestly, the world and the world-building in this game was so mesmerizing and lovely and cool and i just loved it so much as a kid and found it so cool how you can roam around the map continuously along with the designs of every single thing and ever since it unfortunately shut down, i dont think ive ever come across a free-to-play game for kids like this again

My favorite place in Free Realms My character's name was Angel Martinez1 which was pretty basic now that I think back on it but whatevs. I had a ton of fun with this game and made a lot of cool friends. It would be a miracle if I somehow reconnected with them. I have long since moved on with my life but from what I hear there is some peeps trying to reboot the game. I hope it happens soon cuz it would be nice to relive my childhood and also allow future generations to experience the wonders that we did
