Adrian, out of a large body of great videos, this might be my favourite. Great tune by the master, and a great lesson. Thank you very much for this.

Thank you Adrian for choosing this song. This song has accompanied me for 50 years now. When I first learned it I had nothing but Bert's album and my ears. (By the way I learned a lot by listening to Bert's first record).
I wished I had had youtube and you as a teacher at that time. (The C#7 chord was new to me. I always played F#7). But as you said the feeling is more important than the exact chords.
By the way I'm 70 years old now and German and still learning new tricks.
Thank you again Adrian, your're a good teacher and I like watching your contributions concerning guitar work whether it's acoustic or electric.

My Fridays are so much better (and the week that follows) since joining your channel and becoming a Patreon member. This one is just brilliant. Although I do listen to quite a lot of acoustic stuff I hadn’t listened to Bert previously, but I definitely will be this weekend! Thanks for turning me onto this.

You not only play it well, but your voice really suits the song.
I learned this a couple of years ago, I play it on the 2nd fret though.

What a fantastic video! So skillful, such great quality and the fact that you played it slowed down at the end is especially useful. It's very good to hear you encourage us to play it our own way, and to get our own feel for it and performance style. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of seeing Bert playing with Robin Williamson back in the early 90s in Edinburgh. Both great artists and a wonderful experience seeing them live together. Thanks for another great lesson Adrian. Maybe give us some Incredible String Band down the line? Keep rocking.

Hi Adrian, I just your videos for Blues guitar lessons including "sweet home Chicago" Magic Sam version. I only play on acoustic guitar for more than 2 years 4 months but very new in Blues guitar section. I have been playing Pentatonic and Blues scales for the past 1 year and pretty fast but surprisingly still very new in its application. Very beginner type in playing Blues shoufle rhythm. I look forward to learn more some Blues play as I enjoy it. Anyway, I am getting older too now 56 years.

    Hi Adrian
You said you fancied a fingerstyle challenge. I would love some help with Three Hours by Nick Drake? You are very good at focussing on rhythms and this tune has, as far as I can make out , a tricky and pretty unique pattern and pulse and I would welcome your insights and tuition. As far as I can see no one has taken on a tutorial for this although Josh Turner has a smashing cover .
Here’s hoping and thank you again for your time, talent and musical generosity.
