haha your donkey is getting smart! sometimes horses will gather up their stomachs (kinda like holding their breath) when they are being cinched down so that the cinch won't be as tight when they release their breath. Smart! If they are successful, your saddle will be loose. That's why sometimes you'll see someone slap (lightly!) the horse in his midriff before cinching the saddle down - to force them to stop "holding their breath" lol :)
