Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars (Hardwell Remix)
Featuring several world exclusive premieres during his EDC Las Vegas set last weekend, Hardwell unveiled not just the first single (Arcadia) from his forthcoming, as yet untitled, studio album, but also his mesmerizing remix of Coldplay's beautiful collaboration with Avicii 'A Sky Full of Stars'.
Adding subtle touches, the Dutch megastar producer has succeeded in retaining the euphoria of the original, whilst giving the record a fresh progressive deepness, that sees it journey down a new, more club driven tone. Frontman Chris Martin's voice is as dreamlike as ever, swelling alongside the song's catchy pop-like melody, but the sprinkling of Hardwell's signature sound gives the record another gear, transforming it into an anthemic masterpiece perfectly suited to the mainstage.
Personally invited by the label (FFRR/Parlophone) to remix the second single from their new album 'Ghost Stories', Hardwell said "I've long been a fan of the band so when I discovered they wanted me to remix one of the tracks from their new album, it was really a 'wow' moment for me. It's such an honor and I'm really proud of the outcome of the track. When I dropped it at EDC Las Vegas, the crowd's reaction was electrifying; it still gives me Goosebumps thinking about it!"

This gives me the most insane chills.. Saw various sets over summer which included this song, and every time it made me almost stand still and just look around me and appreciate where I am, and how lucky I am to be apart of it. Some awesome memories to be remembered by this song!

That part of my life was so crazy, I thought I’d never survive.. this song brings back beautiful and the most painful moments of my life.. crying hard while writing this lol.. in a good way. Life is beautiful and crazy, I hate it and love it but when I’m gone I know I’ll forever miss it.. so till then, I’m living it up, taking chances, fucking things up to learn and grow from, being mad at the world takes to much energy. Honestly, to me it seems kind of meh. Hardwell has made much better remixes and songs, lately to me he has been losing his touch.

When this song came out, I was in my last semester of nursing school. I needed a break before I started my last semester and spent a glorious few days in Del Mar, CA and Coronado Beach. This song is timeless but takes me back. I had also found out my kitty had some health issues and we fought for a few more years before he became an angel in 2017.....Casper is my Star !!
