    I think you can use eco bricks safely only in indoors..when sunlight comes in contact with ecobricks ..it will start to destroy the stability of ecobricks... after all it is plastics

    heyy nayana, few questions
    1. Is bisleri or any bottled water packaging considered PET? (sorry I am new to this)
    2. What do you do with multi layered products which have both plastic and paper layers in the package?

    • @NayanaPremnath
      @NayanaPremnath  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Yes, bisleri and most bottled water is made of PET.
      Multi-layered plastics like chips packets etc can be cleaned, and collected to be sent to organisations like EcoKaari or Recharkha where they upcycle it to make it into accessories and decor. As MLPs cannot really be recycled. It can only be mixed with additives to be made into furniture or other items. So those, you can send it to a waste management organisation and they will send it to the correct aggregator who’ll use it.
      If you can share your location, I could try and share a good waste management system in your city.

      I’m not sure if Ecobricks are ideal for building an entire home as the property of plastic is not ideal for heat protection or air circulation. It is better used for benches, tables and small rooms for storage purposes.

    Hi, very informative video.
    I have 2 doubts
    I dont drink much fizzy or cold drinks so i dont have many bottles. Can i use any bottle? Like shampoo, oil or something like that?
    What to do with the 1 2 3 4 type plastics? How do i recycle or upgrade it? Can you make another video regarding this?
    Thanks in advance and thanks for sharing this information 😊👍👌

    • @NayanaPremnath
      @NayanaPremnath  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pet bottles are ideal. The bottles im using is basically ones that I got from my friends since I also don't buy fizzy drinks at home. So you can ask around and there will be lots of Pet bottles that people are looking to throw out. Neighbours or friends or family will surely have them. It's best to use them. And they come in the Category 1 which isn't the same as shampoo bottles or oil bottles.
      Will surely talk about Plastic and its classification in detail in another video. :)

    These plastic eco bricks can easily catch fire and can cause more pollution

    • @NayanaPremnath
      @NayanaPremnath  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Sir, Ecobricks are not perfect in any way.. ive said it several times in the video how making more of them isn't what we need to aim at.
      If you are pointing at harm, the pollution you were talking about, these ecobricks contain the pollution caused by non recyclable and smaller pieces of plastic which can cause even worse pollution when lost in our environment. And nobody is saying that Ecobricks should be replacing solid bricks. It is a solution to contain a problem and ultimately it is our consumption that needs to be reduced to make sure we don't keep producing more and more ecobricks.
