Our brains take the information from ALL of our senses to give a response to food that we taste. SciFi dine-in is the jewel in the Hollywood Studios' crown.
That place is the greatest. When we went ther last year that was one of the places we said we wanted to go back to. They need to put one of those in DCA. Thanks for showing this.

The cars are booked months prints to guests arrival at this restaurant in the park. Unfortunately if you don’t make a dining reservation 3-6 months in advance of your trip you won’t have a seat in a car.
This is the one place I’m bummed I didn’t get a reservation for my trip in May. I’m hoping a dinner time ressie becomes open leading up to my trip. I know my kiddos will love being able to chill out and watching the “movies” and I just find this vibe so freaking fun! Thanks for sharing, BLAB! 💕
Keep checking back every week especially the week of your park day! Most reservations become available the day before because if their 24 hour cancellation policy. I always get my reservations this way for my family of 5. You can also walk up as soon as they open up and ask if they have any openings for the day. Good luck!
My family loves that place! The food is perfect for the theme - diner appetizers and entrees, and great milk shakes! The atmosphere is right on par with the cars and movies! Definitely underrated but we love it. Glad you liked it too!
This is my all time favorite restaurant at WDW. I try to go whenever I visit. I found their burger to be okay, but the steak and potatoes on their regular (pre-covid) menu is surprisingly good. I get it every time (when they have it on the menu.)
We’ve dined here every time we’ve gone to Disney because we love the vibe ☺️. My family has a couple picky eaters so the food is great for that because of its simple 50’s diner type food! Last time we were there, they kept messing up our order so we got free appetizers (deep fried pickles and onion rings were amazing!!!) and some fun reusable cups 🙌☺️
I don’t know why Sci Fi gets a bad wrap. It’s one of my all time favorites. I love the theming and being immersed in my childhood drive-in memories with some great food!

Its not a 5 star eatery or a California Grill type but it's a fun burger and shake place. Also had an excellent server and we got a free dessert cause we had on the bride and groom ears. Would definitely eat there again!
Looked like so much fun! And the food options are perfectly suited for a drive in theatre vibe. Anyone expecting more has obviously forgotten what the snack shack at a drive in theatre is like. ☺️
One of the best steaks we have ever had on property was at the Sci Fi. People alway poo poo the restaurant but it’s one of our favs. It good comfort food. Agree with you guys the vibe is awesome. It’s especially good in the middle of summer - it’s cool and dark. Nice break from the heat and sun.

I have the vague-est of memories of eating there as a kid. I do remember being pretty excited about it and I think there's a picture somewhere for proof of it. Just the coolest idea. Walt Disney parks are just the best!
My family of five made our first trip to the Magic Kingdom last month. We got lucky and found an open reservation at Sci Fi on our last night in the parks. We all loved that place. I had no idea what it was all about. It was great. My kids got a shake but I was so full and couldn’t even take a sip. Have fun.
I ate there (in a car) two years ago and LOVED it. The best milkshake on property! I love the “welcome to the 50’s” as you cross the threshold from backstage into the drive-in.

I agree that this is one of the coolest dining locations in WDW. I went twice, first in 2017 with my family and second during my solo trip in 2019. I was lucky to get a car both times and highly recommend! The food, drink, venue and experience were all incredible 🤩
Pictures and videos can’t really capture what it’s actually like to be in there. Very cool place to be and I think the cars are for reservations and the picnic style tables are for walk in dining.
Have you ever really been to Carnation? I used to live there. Yes that is where Carnation Milk really came from. Miss it a lot. As a kid you don't realize what you have. Grass is always greener somewhere else, my else is Cali.

Katie and Spencer, I’m not one to comment on videos very often, but I had to take some time to say what a great job you’re doing. SciFi Dine-In is a tradition for my family and we always eat there every time we go to WDW. As a SoCal local and AP holder, I’m missing Disney so much. Your WDW series brings a fresh perspective to the parks partially because Spencer points out details that most of the Florida vloggers don’t. The California perspective is one I connect with as well, we’re always comparing our experiences between WDW and DLR but love them equally for different reasons. Katie, thank you for unashamedly showing your excitement for the new things you’re experiencing. Hoping to run into you guys for the 50th while we’re there 9/23-10/8.😊
It’s sad that you guys never got to go on The Great Movie Ride before it closed. Spencer especially would have loved all the classic Hollywood vibes. The loading area before your ride starts is set in the Hollywood Hills, very similar to this place visually.

When my kids were younger, we’d always eat there, everyone always enjoyed the food. It was a nice change, since back in the 90’s Disney tried to make everyone eat healthy, everything had a multigrain bun, and it all tasted the same, no matter where you went.
